This post made me think of this, https://forum.literotica.com/showpost.php?p=18119034&postcount=20. He's talking about "identity," but if you replace that with "expectations" (maybe even with "hopes") some of the wise words are almost as apt:

"Just float in the moment when you are with him and ask yourself if you are happy and if making him happy is something that you feel is a part of you. That will be all the answer you need. Labels (expectations, specific hopes) limit people . . ."

Got a phone call from SIMA today, which made me undeniably giddy...then his ex-wife came over to get some of her shit. NOT TO MENTION I am hungover from the beer, vodka, Benadryl combination I had last night.

But I will be going to the ex-work place today to pick up my last check. I haven't been there since last Saturday; they're going to love seeing me when I walk in there.

Thanks to a new friend, Aurora Black. We've exchanged several E-mails in the past few hours. But I suddenly found out her boyfriend is in the hospital! My thoughts and prayers for him.

I'm happy meeting and talking with all my new friends!

Story I have been writing is doing well, just I hate never getting enough votes and I also hate never getting feedback on what people who read it think whether for good or bad.

Also I didn't get my shipments I had placed yet and I want my Buffy season collections now damn't!! URgh!

Ok just grumpy as hell I guess.

Exhausted and in the mood to go to bed early and watch lesbian movies. Anyone fancy joining me? It would be really useful, because I have a feeling I'm going to crash before I finish the film, and could do with someone to get up and turn the TV off. A cuddling companion would be good, too. :p

Any takers?

Sorry just finished the second season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on DVD, and I never knew how addicting that show could have been. I never watched it during its original airing... but once I caught a few reruns... whoa momma. Had to start buying the season collections.

We'll be watching Kissing Jessica Stein tonight ... as for turning off the tv, set the timer on it to turn off after 2 hours. (not that I fall asleep during movies or anything :rolleyes: )
