There are so many here I admire I know I won't mention them all.
Some I admire for obvious reasons, Vella and Lucky. Cloudy. Rob. Og. Imp. Pure. That list could go on forever.

Others I respect for not so obvious reasons, but ones known to them. Entitled. Yui. Mike. Hugo-Sam. Alpaca. Shang. Amicus.

There are so many people here I have learned from. So many I have chatted with and debated with. There are even some whom I have gone offline with and argued with. One or two have even touched me enough to have received offers of Hospitality.

There are so many wonderful people here that it would be easier to name the few I don't like or admire- but most of them I can't remember their names anyway! And the few I do remember- well, we already know, right?

I don't spend nearly as much time here as I perhaps should and I do tend to come and go, but I have also yet to actually write a story for Lit, so I feel a bit odd being here -- though it hasn't stopped me from responding to the writerly threads. Having said that, and in spite of that sort of distance, I am rather fond of many of you. Ergo, I have endeavoured to make a list, but I am not so brave as the rest of you, and out of a combination of complete and utter cowardice on my part, personal amusement, and perhaps a little cruelty, the names have been changed to protect the innocent (it's not their fault I like them, they are blameless!). So, without further ado, here is but a small list of AHers I enjoy, albeit assigned Parsi names.

We shall called you Banu: You are very intelligent and yet quite humble, incredibly polite and unfailingly kind.
You shall be Siavush: I admire your wit and intellect, as well as your eloquence and general breadth of knowledge.
Mahzarin, you will be: I find you very intriguing on several levels, even though I do not necessarily share your weltanschauung.
I think you must be Pari: You have a very youthful and effervescent outlook, you are just absolutely enjoyable to be around.
I suppose you will be called Yasmin: I admire your intelligence and your excellent taste in quite a few things.
You will known as Mahpari: I have always found you kind and pleasant, and an all-around lovely person.
Puran, I think you'll be: You are quite warm and interesting and have always been polite and just wonderful.

If you are not on the above list, my sincere apologies. It most certainly does not mean that I do not enjoy your posts or think highly of you, the list is far from exhaustive and that is precisely the reason for the obfuscation. I would not wish to overlook anyone who deserved mention, but for many I could not form my appreciation into words.

Been thinking about this all day. I frequently have difficulty putting into words what or how I feel about a person when I want to say something deeper than "i like/love you".
I've decided to start with a few people I wont have trouble expressing my feelings for, even though some of them don't know me as well as I know them.

Many people have mentioned Hugo_Sam and I see no reason why one more person shouldn't. He has a generous heart and will do things for people he only knows through the net what many people wouldn't do for family. He also has pretty good taste in music.

It's a rare man, indeed, that is confident enough in his own sexuality that he'll flirt outragously with someone that he believes to be a Bi man and Bel does that all the time. On the subject of admiration of intellegence...I'm gonna have to go with a blanket statement here. There are simply too many people to name. Of all the people that I've met on Lit and all of the people that I've not interacted with directly but have kibitzed...a.k.a. lurked and read their posts but had nothing to add to the ongoing conversation...are IMO all above average and, as Stella said, wonderful to be around. It's such a wonderous joy to be capable of saying just exacly what I mean with just exactly the words that I feel I need to use and not have to worry about dumbing it down. It's a treat to be able to say things like "double entendre" or "non sequitur" and only have to worry about someone correcting my spelling. It's thrilling to post a quote by some obscure individual and have others know them too. I feel so comfortable with all of you that I can be totally myself and that's a rare gift to a person who has spent most of her life being uncomfortable with herself.
