Character sketches!

My Wyatt Earp is an awesome awesome dog. He is one year old and learned all his basic and advanced obedience in 6 weeks, has his CGC, and is a certified hearing assistance dog for me. Extremely smart dog and an absolute joy to have around.

They are not a very easy breed to come by in most areas, at least not from ethical breeders, but I think that is a very good thing, as it keeps the true qualities of the breed intact instead of being ruined by tons of back yard hobby breeders.

That's true enough. I was seriously considering getting one when I was over in Edinburgh. I've been told that they can be pretty bright at times and take well to most training regimes. Personally, I just like them most for their friendly disposition and energy.

Gender: Female

Age: Old enough to know better, young enough not to care.

Marital Status: Very married and happily so.

Orientation: Mostly straight, lately bi curious, kinda confused about all that.

Region: Deep South, USA

Living situation (house/apt/farm/box/etc): I live in a house. I found a great deal on a fixer-upper a while ago. It's been watching the value more than double we are still fixing up when we feel like it. Since we prefer to play that's not too often. The mortgage is less than renting. The neighborhood is one of the best. You know the kind. People buy these really expensive houses, to be in the best school district, (which we no longer use,) then tear them down and build something even more expensive with materials that won't last as long? A huge "perfect" monument to their egos and credit lines. Meanwhile the construction trucks tear up the roads. Yeah, it's that sort of neighborhood. I'd move but it's a great location and I'd be hard pressed to find a better deal anywhere in or around the city/county.

Kids (yes/no/ages):Yes! I have two beautiful, smart, creative kids, a girl and boy, ages 14 & 12. They are just incredible.

Pets: 3 cat's. Posted them on the Show Your Pussy thread. All rescues. (The last was unplanned and seduced my husband to get in the house. *grr*)

Employment (no specifics, just the field): Local public entertainer

Overused phrases: "And they all lived happily ever after." LOL. "I love you." (Can that one be over used?)

Favorite memory: A while back, during a long talk, the look in my husband's eyes as he talked about how lucky we are and how magical our relationship is, it was simply incredible. It was also a totally unexpected occurrence which made the moment and memory even sweeter. I live for moments like that.

Favorite food: This constantly changes. I'm Jonesing for manicotti from my favorite little Italian restaurant right now. I LOVE food. Love to talk about it, read about it, write about it, smell it but I can't eat much of it. That's not entirely a bad thing. The Internet diet is totally working.

Favorite drink: I drink water the most. When I'm drinking to get wasted, that would be a triple anything. Caffeine wise Dr. Pepper. (I generally allow myself 6-8 ozs a day.) On work days I hit the General Mill's decaf, vanilla cream with sugar. It's seem to help my throat to have something hot on it though technically that is a big no no. Heh.

Favorite music: Yikes! Again to pick only one? Nonono. I like most. Probably the only thing I don't like is bluegrass. Right now I have Buffy the Musical, Pink's Try This, Filter's Short Bus, Gary Moore's After Hours, Lenny Kravitz 5, Lilith Fair, Joss Stone both cd's, Alicia Keys both cd's, Vladimir Ashkenazy's Piano Sonata's (Beethoven), and Etta James, Let's Roll in heavy rotation on my various players.

Favorite colour: Purple.

What kind of person are you? I'm the kind of person others enjoy being around. I'm the one who calls people and gets them to come to that party / or thing, whatever is happening. I'm the one who sits quietly with a person. I look them in the eyes and actually care. I will listen to them. I'm the one who also entertains them. I'm constantly introducing people to new ideas and things. I'm busy. I'm tired. LOL. Life is pretty freaking full.

Favorite quote: "That's some crazy there." (Lately anyway, there are so many good ones.)

General disposition: Happy, course I can be moody as hell but most people would say I am sunny. Maybe too much so. *snickers*

Fury :rose:

Favorite quote: All that is needed for evil to prosper is for good people to do nothing.

General disposition: I'm a bear in the morning.. sluggish, grouchy, and slow-moving. I'm immensely patient with my animals, and immensely short-tempered with humans. I make snap judgements, and almost never change my mind about someone once I've decided how I feel about them. It takes me a long time to get angry.. but once I am, hell hath no fury like my temper. I internalize everything, and make myself ill trying to deal with my own problems, rather than ask for help.

Awwwwwwww!!!! Who's da widdle puppy? Who's da puppy?! :D

Thats my Wyatt Earp during his first bath. When we got him, both ears were still down. One day out of the blue one just stood, and the other followed a few days later, but god did I spend those days laughing, he looked so CUTE!

He LOVES mud, and since this first swim in a mud puddle, if there is even a hint of mud withen a mile, he'll find it.

He gets a lot of baths.

awh, your puppy is adorable.
My fred was cute when he was younger too.
He's a mutt, but his time is running out. :(
