He picks arguements out of thin air on matters that have nothing whatsoever to do w/whatever the topic is about. Of course racism will exist in American politics and business. Owners and employees of corporations, government officials and candidates for office are all people, and many people are racist to one extent or another.

And not just Americans--pretty much everyone. So why obsess over the fact people are human? Where racism results in a tangible loss, yes, the person suffering the loss should have legal recourse.

However, racism spans all socio-economic levels and nationalities. It is a part of the human condition. It is a simple way to classify, blame and dismiss people. It's an easy way to an ascriptive culture. After all, it is much easier being born in a "better" race then rely on individual achievement.

Racism is a self protection evolved in prehistoric times in humans to identify and protect your group from foreigners. To not have such a response was life threatenening then.

So it is deep inside everyones psyche and the more open minded and cosmopolitan you are, the less it affects your prejudices.

Everybody can and does pick on "different" people for the silliest of reasons so being another colour is a dead certainty to get the old responses livened.

The rash of Muslim bagging around the world is just another example of nigger bashing by white people, but in this case with a globalisation twist.
