Here is the story... There is a husband and wife who loves each other with a passion. However, they are barely making it, but then the husband gets terminated due to company downsizing. In desperation, he hears about a high stake poker game where he could win millions. He joins this poker game and does well, Bobby and the husband are the only two left in the game, there are millions of dollars on the table and the husband has a winning hand where there is only one other hand that can beat him, and the odds of Bobby having that hand was astronomically impossible to have.

Bobby put in the last bet, and it was all in, the husband didn’t have enough to cover the ante, and so he began offering Bobby items to cover the bet, but Bobby wasn’t interested. Bobby seen a pic of the husband’s wife as he was fumbling for the cash inside. She was hot... Bobby suggested that he would allow the husband to offer his wife for a week of service. The husband thinking it was maid duty and agreed... Well, the husband lost, and the wife has to report to Bobby for a week of service... I want the wife to still love the husband and hate Bobby, doesn’t give in to the touches the best she can...

I wish.

Hasn't this premise been done a hundred, if not a thousand times already, @Elvenoff1? And not one of these existing versions has hit the mark for you? Hard to believe, I must say.

Better than losing your wife in a Costco :ROFLMAO:
Frightenly easy to do. Sometimes I blink and she's gone! But I always find her in the kitchen appliances aisle surrounded by ... nevermind, that's another story.

Back to the OP's idea.
It's a common trope and I've dabbled with the idea myself. The thing about these regularly done plots is that the setting can often make the story unique and interesting.

So to the OP, what's your setting? Joe average with a poker game in the dining room? A Vegas casino? A trans-Atlantic voyage in the 1940's?

The latter gives you the most unique setting and allows you to use more international characters. Our winner could be a rather dapper gentleman from Spain, well dressed and handsome. To the wife he's beyond enticing with his accent and slick style.

That they are all on a ship together, makes it even worse for the husband because he can literally hear them in a nearby stateroom.

And here's the twist - What happens I wonder, when the wife finds out halfway through her week of servitude that the Spaniard cheated?

This scenario has been done many times before, but the key is to find that element that makes is slightly different. One idea off the top of my head, though it may already exist, that the husband is overconfident in his skill and is playing against a relative novice. The husband has been on a bit of a bad streak but still manages to beat the other players and is left with the novice on the final hand.

The husband is short on cash, since the other players got most of it. He talks to his wife about betting her and convinces her that there is no danger of this newbie winning. Of course, due to pure luck the novice wins and the story goes on from there.
