Are you ashamed to be American at the moment?

You can't debate politics and you suck at even trivial attempts at small talk and deflection.
You. Are. Boring.
I'm off to someone else. How sad is it that I now leave you for another magat smarter than you?
Where is glamz, anyway?
If you really thought you were "winning", you wouldn't run off like a girly man. Hahaha. :)

Don't worry - you'renot alone in trying to figure out wtf is this persons point.
Hint - there is no point. There's no depth here at all.
You spend a lot of time trying to pump up your image, as if anyone but you gives a shit. Lol. :)

I find your criticism of the British monarchy strange.
Who did you vote for in the election? You voted against the black woman and you did so BECAUSE of her race. By any other metric/measure she was the better/best choice. STFZU.
I voted against the ultimate DEI candidate, and would have had she been green with blue polka Dots! There has never in the history of our country a candidate worse the Kameltoe.

The DEI candidate was trump.
Never held office. Knows nothing.
Promoting his name off the money of his dad.
Against a candidate who served in all branches of government.
There is no comparison between the two.
trump won by being enabled by racists like you, pure and simple <----- THAT is the definition of a DEI candidate.

👍

Yep.

Though I would say DonOld is more of a PWM (Privileged White Male) hire (which applies to the corporate world as well).

See also: EVERY politician elected in America before 1870 and most of the politicians after that date (and most corporate promotions).

😑

We. Told. Them. So.

And deprive us to the timeless legal humor of Ketanji Brown Jackson? :D
Lately, the dissents of the crazed left are written by Kagen and Sotomayor after Justice Barrett took Jackson to the judicial woodshed for her Hug-it-out legal reasoning, where she throws out precedent and turns to citing Hallmark, Dr. Phil, and her inner child. Hers is not jurisprudence; it’s judicial journaling, complete with mood swings.

Best I can do is be ashamed of Canada right now. But with any luck, we'll vote to get out soon.

Ya did vote.
Ya coulda had Poilievre.
The liberals there were, for all intents and purposes, ‘cooked’ and preparing for the inevitable loss.
It was all but a certainty that Canada too would have its own version of a lazy hack of a PM.
But then… grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory, trump went and opened his dumb, big mouf.

So the question now is not ‘what you are ashamed of?’ but rather whydafuk are YOU sitting there boo-hoo whining how you can only dream of being taken over by threat of force, losing your freedom and autonomy to become whatever numbered state that dementia addled trump is instructed comes after 50, you fuckin traitor to Canada YOU!

I like the bit about the MAGA people not wanting people to be promoted "just because they're black" . . .

. . . but they're sure keen on FIRING people (like the chairman of your Joint Chiefs of Staff) . . . who happen to be black!

Yes, sadly, history in the US tends to repeat itself and right now the dumbest and weakest of white men are having a moment - their own generational moment. This country has been through worse and sorta, kinda recovered🤷‍♀️, but tech and billionaire money appears to be undermining democracy in attempting to quash any future gains on equity and rights.

I'm appalled that apparently NO ONE can can explain percent reductions to the President of the United States.
Mathematically challenged to the MAX!

Is he adding up all of the percents for each drug?

Can ANYONE explain a reduction of over 100%? Please!

Granted that's a small thing if he really forces the drug companies to do right by America. I have a feeling this is all hot air that will be repeated but will NOT have any real effect. More promised investment in America that probably won't be started but puts the drug tariffs until Trump is gone.

I wonder if it's just a downturn, from which the USA will recover, like they did from the disastrous 1960s or their Civil War.

Or if they're on a downward trajectory, ending up somewhere around Argentina or Poland in terms of semi-democracy and a weak economy.

Good question. I can only speak for myself and say that IDK but I imagine that even with the most optimistic outcome for the midterms, Dems would only have the numbers necessary to stall this agenda for the time being. Democratic leadership has never been one to go as far with their voter granted powers as the members on the other end of the aisle have/has. Roe, I believe, is gone as far as the projected lifetime of you and I. It seems damn near irreversible the damage this SC has done to equity and there’s plenty more to come from them regardless of who is president.

The examples you gave are basically from the US recovering from wars. That is simply not an option in this nuclear age. I think Americans have become comfortably numb. trump may have already compromised our national security whether by stealing documents, having an easily hacked phone, continually calling and meeting with Putin by himself with no rail guards in place so when an actual communist strolls down our main streets, the cheerleaders are already here on this PB, the 2A will/ is already moot, and those now in support of authoritarianism will be ready to out and point to liberal thinkers be rounded up first. Fatalistic? Probably!
But the iPhone 17 is out now and for the time being we should probably be fine.

Very ashamed at dishonesty by Christians, disregard for hundreds of years of rule by law and mass hatred of fellow Americans -- and this in good times!
