What are you up to tonight?Nothing much, it's a slow night
You? Are you well?
I'm only on 4 threads tonight, I'm usually on 7 and when one speeds up, I wait until it slows before I jump back inAll is great at the moment!
Over 44 minutes!!Do we have to begin watching 70s and 80s commercials??
Damn… now he’s done it….
I hated that when ppl would use reply all.I am reminded of my working days. Meetings Rule #1 Shutup! Emails Rule #1 Do not reply all.
I bet you were good at it! The best presenters tell relatable stories. Slides are for context. I always assumed my students/participants could read.I was trained on presentations. Science can be dry. I kept the slides simple and told a story as if my colleagues were not schooled in the sciences. I was asked back to present.
My girl is always on a leash. ALWAYS! We have a greenbelt backing the back yard with lots of critters. She would make a tasty little treat!Good morning to those early risers or insomniacs. I now have to go outside when my dog has to go outside as I spotted a Coyote or was it a fox. I need help identifying the animal. I just know they like small dogs like mine.
Are you feeling better now, Impy? That's the look I get after I enjoy my morning! It's going to be an awesome day!! I've been waiting for this day for a few weeks now....
You should be home by now. I hope your travel day was uneventful.Morning all. It’s travel day back home. Early morning flight, quick transfer and then another flight. Then (finally) back home to my bed, pillows, and recliner.
Hope you all age a great day. Talk with you sometime next week.
I used the giant calendar on the wall in my office. I wrote on it the remaining work days. It gave me great pleasure to cross each day off! My boss always gave me "the look" when she came in my office. Until she decided to retire nearly the same time I did. Then she eagerly looked at the wall to see how many more work days we had left!I already have. It’s on my phone reminding me every day![]()
Dry snow is usually not a huge problem. We, however, get really wet snow that partially melts during the day then freezes into sheets of ice during the night. Combined with our many hills and overpasses, it's a huge hazard. Then there are the guys (and it's almost ALWAYS guys) in their jacked up 4X4s.I agree, I’m good on snow and ice is harder. Plus the other area worried me. I have a small all wheel drive and great tires which helps.
I have always been a morning person even when my LW was a night owl. I was up and made coffee and breakfast for her everyday. When I was sleepy in the evening she coaxed me into sleeping on the couch with my head in her lap as she stayed awake. We made our differences work.
We haven't had frost yet, either. Looks like it might happen on Thanksgiving, tho.Running low 40s here also. Dropped to 35 over night. Not cold enough for frost yet.
You seem really busy every day with your dogs, G!Exactly my experience
You're still a baby girl! Not an old crone like me!I'm going to wait another 29 maybe 30 years...![]()
Gorgeous boys!So an update on life.
My pal managed to get the parts for our boiler and repairs completed today so, just as the weather warms the system is back up…perfect!
Today we were out on the hill..everything frozen and so cold air sitting in all of the glens made it so cold. I am pretty bundled up and the boys don’t care. They just want to be out working so by special request of @Lilianna23 and @Missk_2022, here they are!

I'm always having to watch my mouth. F bombs fly!So long as there aren't any impressionable niblings around... I believe I am the mirror image of this remark.![]()
