I didn't know jello was allowed the first couple of times. Then there is broth too? For me it made the prep much more tollerable.

As long as it's not red, blue, or purple, you're generally free to eat/drink any clear foods or fluids. Note - vodka and tequila are NOT acceptable!

i am near Clearwater. I see next week we will finally be down in the 70's for a high temp.

I am thinking that is the only way to take it.... and if I insert myself i can do OG like we used to do with incubated patients..... and be done with it..... I have to have this again in 3 years....yuck

Fine...I was watching some of it... I remember saying it is pretty cool.to see your insides on the screen.... now whether it really happened or not is the question. 3 8 to 10 mm polyps transverse colon and a 14 mm peduculated polyp in the descending. All sent for biopsy.... so we will see. The big one has a higher chance of turning to cancer. He didn't seem concerned. So I am not going to be either.

Good! No sense fussing about it until you get the path report.

It was awful..... I was in and out because there is some stuff I dont remember like going back to my room.... the post procedure nurse had the personality of a clam shell... and I am being mean to the clan

explain to me after you receive these high-powered drugs, when you get a blood pressure of 60 over 30. I watch the whole thing. She didn't want to look at my face, ask me how I was feeling. She rechecked my blood pressure on the same arm with the same cuff on my forearm, got a better number and said oh well that's better and walked out of the room. Now nurse to nurse we know that's b******* right

Lazy! She was nursing the monitor rather than actually taking care of her patient.

Not sure what NG or OG are, but anything to avoid the taste buds.

NG is naso-gastric. The tube is inserted into the nose and ends in the stomach.

OG, in this case, is oral-gastric. Not Original Gangsta. Although anyone who can insert an OG tube on themselves IS an OG! This tube is inserted into the mouth and ends in the stomach.

Both types of tubes bypass the taste buds. If you know and can sweet talk an HCP into inserting one for you, it would make your prep a bit easier. However, the insertion is not pleasant and there are risks involved.

Thanks Lilli. My mother’s friend was sent back after she thought she could skip a step of prep. My first one I followed everything to the letter of the law, went in, the anesthesiologist started counting backwards from 10 and I don’t remember anything after 8! .

I will follow our resident Head Nurses advice this time also! Thanks for the reminder!

Took third in our dart league match last night and won the weekly football pool. Not a bad haul! Needed to get some things done today but it’s cloudy, cold, and the rain is supposes to start around 2. It’s looking more and more like a nap day…

While I ponder that…I‘ll leave you some Osprey MZ…

Osprey are amazing birds! I was sitting on my friend's deck last summer watching one fish in our cove. It was magnificent!

Around here EVERYONE is limited. Major medical is at minimum 2 hours drive, with some trips being 8 hours...

In the case of the PT, there is ONE person in a several hundred mile radius that does that. She left the hospital and started her own practice. For half of the PT she was in the PPO, then longer in the PPO...

That's really unfortunate. Many states are canceling student loans for HCP that will practice in rural areas.

That looks like Booboo as a kitten. He lived to be 11 and a half. He loved everybody. He was nicer than this h000man deserved.
