That's the thing. The USA not only isn't running out of other people's money. The issue is we refuse to take other people's money making that one what REpubicans always do. Sabotage the system then claim it could never have worked.

They are not necessary for economic parasites. They are necessary PERIOD. I don't remember Walmart building roads ports, airports, train tracks, laying down utilities do you? They add real value and make people's lives better. This is not open to debate at all.

I have turned on the TV and of course there is salt, not that much but the concession already came in and they are mostly talking about what should be done next time. Not really tearing down Trump. Not even bringing up how the Supreme Court is going to be Conservative for the rest of all of our lives letting Trump and his successors do whatever the hell they want.

There has been an explosion vindictive right-wing posting on the PB during the last week. But now that Trump has won, suddenly the PB is dominated by a swarm of brownshirts, "joking" about ugly scenarios, such as cattle cars being used in the planned mass deportation.

Not a healthy environment, so I'll be spending less time here-- just checking in occasionally to see if the dust settles. Hopefully it will, but history teaches us that it can takes years to moderate the fervor of right-wing populist movements following a rise to power.

I do want to wish you and all our progressive friends the very best during these dark days. Hang in there. Brighter days will eventually return.
