After a 15 hour shift yesterday with fabulous people from all parties, I fell asleep at 930 pm after giving my dog some love. I am awake but no grandpa taxi duties because of yesterday fatigue. I am healthy and thank God for that.

I will probably be off most of the day trying to recover from the fatigue.

Today, I struggle with simple problems like this one. I guess the old saying, if you don't use it you loose it applies to math problems too. This may be an artifact of learning skills you really don't need, but I digress.

Maybe the root problem here is making a funny meme, and showing it to engineers and the like! I showed it to the wife, and she started doing math with her "finger chalkboard" in the air... 😂

Well I went to dinner with a friend and ate dinner. I traded out high calorie side and app for desert. But 8 have to say I don't need any more sweets.... it was good but i could have done better. ..lesson learned. Back at it tomorrow!!

Non food reward may be an outfit. I need to buy some pants. !!

Sounds like a lovely night. My wife and I had dinner out and ate outside.

Went to a German restaurant called Schmidt's and had a most delicious Bahama Mama sausage and some green beans. It was supposed to be green beans and s p e t z l e, but they're literally was two of them. Not too bad but definitely went over calories.

With all the hard work you've done, and all the progress that you've made every once in awhile it's okay to cheat. That's what makes it worth it.

I agree. I've been told many times over the years to pick one meal a week as your "free meal". It's the splurge or reward or relaxing of the rules that helps keep folks on track. It's manageable and doesn't undo all the good work every meal the rest of the week.
And now you have a better idea of what you would prefer to choose for next time.
Congratulations on an amazing milestone and a fantastic meal.
