In recent conversations about horror films I have been reminded of the interest some women have in relation to mind control.
The erotic appeal of Dracula and how he is able to mesmerise or hypnotise his victims is a fairly classic example of this.

Not surprisingly the association seems particularly strong in submissive women, but I am just curious to know how many others have used this as storylines or are turned on by the thought of it?

I will be honest and tell you that I am not and never will be a Star wars fan probably because I found it boring. About the only thing I liked about the Star wars franchise was maybe the ewoks. And that's because they ate people and looked cute doing it. I'm more of a Star Trek fan. I don't hate Star wars. I'm just not into it like a lot of people are. Lord of the rings okay maybe maybe not. Not sure I did watch all the movies the last one I damn near pissed my pants because it was so long like the ending kept going. James Bond I just got into. Not totally though. I wasn't a big Sean Connery fan regarding James Bond only because I didn't like how they wrote his character. Especially when he raped that one woman. I did like Roger Moore because he was funny And I found him to be a nicer guy. Or rather a gentler guy.

But then that's my thing in the world that I'm in. It's why I love my husband so much. Because he is a kind and gentle person. So I guess I have a soft spot for that type.

It has nothing to do with being nerdy or geeky. I'm both actually. Like there is some things I like in the Star wars franchise. My husband and I just finished watching the skeleton crew which was phenomenal. We did watch the mandalorian which was also pretty good. I happen to like the boba Fett one but my husband didn't.
