The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Happy Tuesday, all
Ugh - online 2 hours and still no coffee yet
need to remedy that soon!

2nd day back to work - some things never change
Lead gave staff a heads up last Friday (while I was out) about 3 requests coming that would use effective dates for 1/1/25. So... is there a reason why all 3 requests are still sitting in the queue? B/c I know they're not just waiting for me.

Currently floating in a somewhat 'undiagnosed' state, which complicates things. Sadly, not finding anything 'general' on line. So you guys are stuck with me! LOL
🤗 Hang in there. I've heard it can take 7-10 years for an actual diagnosis for some of the less obvious chronic illnesses. Right doctor at the right time with the right symptoms present. Hope you get some answers soon.

Great resources, OM. Thanks for sharing - hadn't heard of some of these. 😍
Having the most wonderful time with my daughter and new grandson. You forget how tiny they are!
👶 Love 'em up, @Greylag!! They grow so quickly. Won't be teeny tiny much longer.
The airlines hate me.
🤗 Sorry you have to pack that way.
My solution this last trip? Brownies
Was 2 pounds over the max at weigh-in.
Opened the bag and asked, "Triple Fudge? Or Triple Fudge Peanut Butter?"
The check in desk person was slow to respond, so they got what was on top.
She and her nearest co-worker broke out in huge grins... and my bag was exactly 2 pounds lighter!
Made their day... and made mine free of extra charges for an overweight bag.
BTW - that bag will be an Xmas gift to my youngest sibling. I need one that's larger than carryon but smaller than this  :ROFLMAO:
Your squirrelly MZ
Cute!!
For anyone else liking snaps of wild squirrels, check out Dani Connor Wild. I love their pics!!

My goal in life is to become as proficient as you are in this LIT interface. I'm very impressed

Thank you, kindly.
While many of you are managing Lit on a cell phone, I'm almost always on a desktop. The monitor alone is @ 14x the size of my cell phone's screen! Makes a huge difference to my seriously nearsighted peepers. 👀 I also find some of the features easier to navigate with a mouse/keyboard vs my fingers.

I'm impressed also. I can't operate this on a cell phone (too small) as I have ever changing diabetic eyes. I have the biggest tablet I could get and yet this is on zoom. My eye doc says not to drive especially at night, but I have to because I'm caregiver to Mrs Rj. No family to rely on....I'm dribbling again, sorry.

Don't worry Rj. As long as the drooling has stoppedyoullbe fine. (And dry)...❤🤭

That do make sense

You do amazingly well for so many obstacles, RJ.
Mrs. RJ is very lucky to have you IMO.

Wait... now Wetter isn't Better?? I'm confused :LOL:
*inside voice, Likes... inside voice!!*
I had a friend that says sugar magnolias and fudgesicles
From one of my fave book series:

“Cheeses crusty, got all musty, got damp on the stone of a peach,” I agreed. He looked blank, so I repeated it with proper emphasis. “ ChEEZ-zes crusty. Got Al -musty. Got DAMp on the StoneofapeaCH.”

― Patricia Briggs, Iron Kissed

I'm not that creative - I just make sh*t up
muffle lumpers
lolly bangers
and the like
My parents had them and we even went to the factory once. Until recently, I still carried a small one in the back of my car, but I gave it, my pad and sleeping bag to someone who needed them.
paying it forward with a little reduce, reuse, recycle
nice! 😄

I had to give up camping for now when
I started reacting to bug spray and everything else under the sun. I’ll probably go back to it when I go into remission again.
I'm sorry you had to give up something you love.
It's been so long for me that I don't remember what I miss anymore. Now I'm just "incompatible with Nature" for the most part. 🤷‍♀️ :ROFLMAO:
Still like the idea of camping, but know there is no way I'm able to safely do it anymore.

I give stuff away a lot. Sometimes even stuff I’m using. If people need it and I am not using it, I figure I might as well give it to them. This occasionally causes me to have to get another whatever it is later, but that’s ok.
