What is your opinion on publishing a full novel here?

Publishing here means thousands of views/readers without getting a single buck.
Oh… and probably zero commentaries below your story.
I think it would make sense for stories so taboo and explicit that you have no chance to publish them anywhere else.

Yes you are right, and also the chances of people stealing it and selling it in Amazon

I‘ve published on amazon. Most of the stories here would be banned. It has become quite difficult to publish anything really kinky.
Someone managed to get a book published last month that had at least three of my stories. Stories with demons, space vampires, a rape scene, an orgy.

I filed a copyright complaint through the ebook's product page, linking to my author page here on Lit. The book was taken down in a matter of hours.

It helped, probably, that one of the stories was "Rulk the Rat and the Demon Dagger" - there aren't many stories with a title like that.

Okay. Then this works at least. How did you notice that your texts were hijacked?

I'm too busy with life and work for all the effort that would involve. I'll save it for when I retire. Right now I'm just enjoying writing here on Lit.

There are a few people who I would love to see have their stories made into novels. Some good sex scenes but a real story line and really well written.

Depends on what you expect from publishing it. If you are a new author without a great following, it might not be the best idea to publish the story as a whole but rather to divide it into chapters. It takes time to get to know the intricacies of this place so you might want to consider all of the angles.

I've done a couple of novel-sized stories and a few novella's. It's been fun :)
I looked up your books. Your stories are intriguing. I probably read the one with the centaur. :)
But I have one question if you don‘t mind. How do you avoid that amazon doesn‘t accept the story? In my experience it doesn‘t take much erotic to delete a book. Thanks.

They do take erotica, but so far all of mine have been through an ebook publisher who manages all that

I've never gone direct to amazon and I probably never will - I have a couple coming up I plan to try thru Draft2Digital and see what happens. There's quite a few people here with that self publishing experience who could talk to that better than me.

I've published a couple here. Slave Camp (36 chapter) and an associated story that is still in progress Gotta Pay the Piper now at 45 chapters. My chapter length is in the 10 or slightly longer range.

Problem with any long story as has been stated, you get a loyal but smaller following. It takes a bit to get invested but I see new readers pop up constantly.

Thanks. Well, I also used an ebook publisher who put the books on different shops. Still amazon put the stories down which were pretty steamy.
