Just thought I would post this thread from the Lit subreddit.

Basically, a podcast that streams on Spotify, Apple, and Amazon Music, amongst other places, has been taking stories from Lit (maybe other places) and using a text-to-speech AI to create episodes for their erotica podcast. No permissions (as far as is known) have been asked or granted for this and there are over 430 episodes with a lot of Literotica authors' stories on there. I have seen two of mine, for example, if the mods/Lit wants proof.

Sorry if this has already been posted here or elsewhere on the forums, I haven't seen it. But I thought people would like to know to check if their stories are on there.

There doesn't seem to be a lot we can do other than to file DMCA takedown notices, but we have only seen how on Spotify and Apple, not Amazon. But at least you should know about the possibility of your work being used - and in some instances asked for subscriptions on Spotify and used as 'patron content'.

Thanks.

I'm not sure how Amazon Music works, but just the other day I got a Kindle taken down within a matter of hours. Just file a copyright complaint.

I did think of that, but you have to put in a product on their copyright complaint system and it won't register a podcast. Will take another look though :)

Figured I would chip in. I'm actually the person that discovered this whole thing, and I spend most of today trying to find ways to send Takedown notices and copyright claims.

Like you mentioned earlier, I can't find any way to report copyrighted material through Amazon or Audible. The myriad difference sites that host this content also don't have any details on how to contact the person uploading all the content.

I have yet to find any contact information for the person uploading everything.

Is there any way to search that podcast for my stories? Even just clicking through "more episodes" again and again only got me back to early September.

My thanks to those posting this.

Not to my knowledge? Though this person has also shared these audio clips on a huge number of websites. I would suggest searching google for the name of your story in quotation marks, that's how I found my story and unearthed this whole podcast.

Dirty Bits Podcast always contacts me, get my permission for any of my stories before they record them, and lets me know when they will go live with them. They give links to my Lit and Amazon pages.

Spam them with DMCA complaints if need be.
