The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I have my replacement appointment today from when the bike f*cked up last week on the way in. Meh. We'll get there eventually. At least we have back-up vehicles.
True. I just need to calm down! I got a tire pressure warning on my CAR today while I was on my way to another dr appointment. The onboard computer showed exactly which tire it was complaining about on the heads-up graphic. Luckily there was a tire store on the way. They put more air in all the tires and I was on my way.

What happens on steroids?

I do not want to go on them. Am not functional without something anymore.

Basically, allergies are triggering system wide inflammation. Working with multiple Dr to figure it out. Pretty sure it's a mold endemic to the area. Three seasons of the year are bad. Snow covers it up.

Learned on vacation last week, If I leave the area (far enough) it goes away.
For various reasons, can't leave permanently yet. Basically need to get through a few more years. Then figure out what to do...
Steroids are good for healing cell walls that inflammation destroys. For some people, roid rage is very real. I become so poisonous, I don't like myself at all. A literal Jekyll/Hyde situation. For those reasons, I will delay taking them as much as possible. Sometimes, because of my own health issues, taking them is inevitable.

Got a stinking ticket yesterday😡. Left the detector in the house as I usually just go with flow, but was running late…

Pulled the detector out later, after the ticket, went to hook it up…no 12v connector in the late model truck! 🙄. Good grief…the funny not funny thing is the spot where I got the tix…that’s where I got my very first speeding ticket when I was 16…they hide in the church yard. Lazer gun got me. Dammit…you’d think I’d learn…

Here’s a shout out to dkak101 MZ…

A Gordon doing what he does best!
Love the dog pic. So sorry you got a ticket! 🤬🤬

Good morning everyone. Well the MRI of the brain pan housing group came back negative (yes I have a brain for what it’s worth, but nothing out of the ordinary). Also the biopsy screening for skin cancer came back benign. So all that leaves me with is a crater in the middle of my forehead. All of this is good news, now let’s see what is the root cause for my 7 week long headache. Hope everyone has a great day.
Good that you're getting the really bad stuff ruled out. Bad that you continue to have headaches! 🫂🫂

There is a whole laundry list of issues going on, many of them interrelated. Stress is just one of them. I’m out of shape, but really can’t exercise due to chronic pain. I’m working on addressing that as well. On the plus side I’ve lost over 20 lbs, just another 20 to go.
Looks like you're addressing some of the issue.

This is ridiculous. I’ve been awake for an hour after a few hours of sleep. We are having weird weather, 80 two days ago and now a winter advisory. It’s was raining, sleeting and whatevering outside. I still have my bedroom air in. I woke up to a sound like an animal was trying to get in through the ac. So I turned on the ac fan, annd put in earplugs, but every time I go back to sleep I wake up sure an animal is getting in. SMH!
I hate it when I can't sleep! If there's weird sounds, that will definitely keep me awake.

The memories keep coming back to me and I will share one last one, I imagine it is already boring. I had to get an MRI or something for my prostate cancer. I had to strip down below the waste anyway and was a bit imbarrased. There were three techs there, standing beside each other and saw my obvious discomfort. They said not to worry they had seen it all before. I could only imagine and I replied I didn't mind but this was a first for me! Everything went well.
All of us who do patient care has seen it all but that doesn't mean the patient has! Part of our job is to make the patient feel safe and comfortable.

Had a surgery last year. One of the nurses was a friend from school. Hadn't seen her in years, and when they were transferring me from the bed to the table, the other nurse accidentally pulled the sheet off me. Poof Naked! My friend smiled at me and threw the fresh blanket over me. In 5 more seconds I was out cold.
Just glad she wasn't the in the colonoscopy room I was in 2 hours before! lol.

At this point I don't care anymore. They've seen it all, and I'm not that impressive anyway, so... :ROFLMAO:
She was a good friend. And nurse!

Long day yesterday….14 hours door to door. Picking up on pheasants was hard work. Give me partridges every time. Quarter the weight but they shoot as many pheasants. 20 plus or more in your pack and carrier and that’s a lot of weight to carry off the hill. Sam retrieved a turkey!

Fly tying Club AGM was okay just too long at nearly three hours. Our Chair has verbal diahrrea! I could have done it in a third the time.

Today was a three hour site meeting …thank goodness I am on the hill tomorrow and a day shooting Saturday.
That does sound like a lot of weight to carry. I googled pheasant weight. Some can get to 4.5 lbs! IDK if yours get that big.

And good boy, Sam! A turkey! 🦃

No children come trick or treating as the busy highway keeps them away. They have smart parents.

I will settle back snacking on chocolate and other snacks watching a fun movie remembering when Elvira and her theater:
