There's an intersection here between the humanism of the Enlightenment (I'd say Voltaire is echoed in Kant's categorical imperative here), and at least a few strains of classical Christian thought (i.e. - the Episcopal confessional prayer where sin is, "what we have done and what we have left undone.") And while there are problems in the details (as with anything), I'm far more worried about the hyper-individualistic alternatives that wholly reject the sentiment. But it's been far too long a day and I'm far too tired to tie those thoughts into a neat little package.

Yes, indeed. The soldiers in pinstripes did show up to do battle last night. Once they got the momentum going their way, they were relentless.

The initial battle scene was rather brutal for both sides.

Since our much celebrated Confessor seems to have been yonder for some time, I entrust punishment for me coming on here when I planned not to, to whoever chooses to serve it
Suggestion - don’t make it something I like, that’s no deterrent
And really need to focus lol
Suggestions - I hate wallsits and pressups and lapsed with my challenge at day 3 agh; I hate tidying and organizing regal things; I don’t think I deserve to deny myself your company for longer for peeking in, but you make think otherwise; I’m still eating meat when I know it’s ethically wrong

Good morning Queen Mia and the rest of the Court! I hope you had a good evening. Your Alchemist did, despite not getting much sleep.

In the absence of our confessor, I would be willing to mete out punishment, if you'll allow, my Queen.

Your punishment shall be - 1.5 times your usual amount of both wallsits and pressups. I second your vote that checking in with the court shall not be punished. In fact, I will expect confirmation that you completed your punishment when you do check in later.

And last but not least, you must point your loyal Alchemist in the direction of these pictures you speak of! I need to, umm, inspect them to, err, insure they are of adequate quality for royal consumption. Yeah, that's it.
