I know the feeling! Absolutely love playing, but never had the skill needed to get picked at college
But love pick up. I’m glad of the cooler weather for hiking, but the rain and snow always makes balling opportunities rarer

Since it’s Halloween this week, I propose a trick or treat challenge
Either choose your favorite way to surprise and treat someone, and do so in the court and irl
Or!
Your favorite cheeky way to trick someone and make them laugh, and do so here and irl - all in a manner that befits the court of course!
And an additional challenge - something fun with costumes or pumpkins! That can mean absolutely anything!

That is a challenging quote, especially with a five minute window in which to comment!

Voltaire was the opposite of Neitsche in some ways. The debate goes back to the question of "Am I my brother's keeper?" (Of course, that statement was only offered as deflection after having killed his brother, but still...)

I agree with Voltaire, for the most part. I agree with his intent, in any case. I think, with modern communications, we are aware of too many ills for us to possibly right, so this thinking could lead to a kind of hopelessness or sense of inadequacy if applied universally.

As it regards our smaller worlds, though, I tend to agree. Yet, I'm still not going to let one of the many unhoused people around live in my home. So I guess I am a hypocrite to some degree. Or at least I acknowledge my guilt.

Whew, too much for lunch time! Lol
