I love this! I have well over 100 polishes. I might have an addiction! Does anyone know of a NPA (nail polish addiction) meeting?

This picture is from when I set up my space. My polish rack is stuffed now and there could possibly be another storage case for polishes.

Happy Tuesday!!! Making a list and checking it twice to order and organize the crap what could use done around this place. Yes, I know I slaughtered the King's English. He can send troops if he cares that much.


Dry as tinder around here. Hasn't rained for weeks and there none in the forecast until a week piss-stream chance on the 7th. Hmmmm . . . .

When you get done organizing your crap, I could use some help organizing my crap! I have no idea what half the stuff is in the storage room.

Thanks! Hey, can you explain something to me? The only place I was ever called by my last name only was in the military. So with Velvet Bubbles, Velvet's the first name and Bubbles the last name. Yet I am consistently addressed as Bubbles instead of Velvet. WHY?! Just so you know, I go by Velvet.

Edit: might go good with a rum and coke. (Although I prefer a cranberry and absolute.)

I started to watch that horrible show. I enjoy mythology. That show is simply too vulgar for my taste. <shudders> The Boys is even worse. I'm currently watching Reacher and am quite enjoying everything but the fight scenes which are a tad violent.

Wow. That IS a lot. I've recently gotten into doing my own nails with gel nail polish (which cures with a UV lamp) to help strengthen them. I love that shelf unit. Although both my essential oils and gel nail polishes would all fit on it with room to spare. And I got the essential oils to make my own perfumes.

Also, I am a wizard at organizing. You're probably too far away to assist though.

It took me 2 power outages to realize no more procrastination. Ugh what a mess. Do it sooner than later.

I have a whole-house generator. It lessens the urgency for taking care of these chores. Right now, I'm trying to eat what's in there and resist buying more ice cream.

On another note this morning, I was an election inspector/ worker 8 years ago. I stopped when my wife needed me during her cancer treatment. Now I signed up again and went through training last night. I was impressed how technology has made the process more secure and easier for poll workers.

No politics here, just please exercise your right to vote.

I completed my ballot on Sunday and dropped it off at the library dropbox yesterday.

This happened to a neighbors parents. The dad did everything and the family wasn’t exactly prepared when he passed.

That's so sad! I'm not financially naive; I handled all our finances and did our taxes. It's been complicated for me.

I can't imagine someone not knowing anything about their financial life. Unfortunately, they are also the ones ripe for being preyed upon by unscrupulous actors.

Catching up on my phone while I’m doing a light workout.

Working from home this morning, then off to the doctors to get some blood drawn for my annual physical on Friday.

And it’s off to the office for the drudgery of meetings and projects.

School board elections have become more important lately. I traveled when I was working and never knew when I would have to hop a plane. Early voting and mail in voting is great IMHO. People have busy, sometimes it can be impossible to get to the poles to vote on a specific day. I had a mail in ballot this year and picked up a felt tip pen to mark it. It bled thru so I went to early voting. EZPZ her in FL. Good thing I took my mail in ballot along because they knew I had one and I had to turn it in so I could vote. I took it along because I would not remember the way I voted on everything. I didn't think of taking a picture. The poll worker had me do so I could remember.
