This crossed my mind...

How about a conservative/prude woman (in her 30s) who is looking to have a baby but her husband is infertile so she's want a sperm donor (she could be single but the cheating element would make it more arousing. She decides to look a donor that she knows in person instead of opting for the sperm bank because she wants to make sure the inherited genes/personality from the father is up to par.

She decided to ask a younger guy(18-22)...Could be a distant relative, a neighborhood boy who she admires, student (she could be a professor or a high school teacher?) if he'd willing to donate his sperm.

Firstly, her decision to him must not be of a sexual nature...It could be because of his personality, intelligence, etc. Secondly, the woman and the guy must have some form of relation..professional or personal..but they cant be strangers.

She might originally approach the guy by saying that she's asking for a friend, etc (or not). They guy refuses/is reluctant at first but dirty thoughts creep into his mind and he agrees to donate his sperm but only if they do it the old fashion way. She refuses at first but ends up agreeing few weeks later after becoming desperate or because she's determined that the donor has to be him.

I would like some build up in the story so I would like it that that not everything happens on their first time. So I thought that the first time they do it she insists take they go right at it, no foreplay, plain on missionary. But she doesnt get pregnant on the first try...So as they 'try' further, he starts demanding more things etc...

Depending on how complex/rich and what theme the author would like to make the story into.....The woman could actually already be a mother to daughter/son (friend/classmate of the male protagonist perhaps)... He/She starts to find out what is going on, and joins in?

Or maybe adding a cuckold/voyeur theme with the infertile husband...

PS: If anyone knows any good stories with woman looks for sperm donor, ends up doing it the traditional way. Please reccommend.

I would make the donor a relative of the husband. The logical reason (within the story) is that the woman wants her child to be as closely related, biologically, as possible. If the hubby has a twin brother, of course, that would be ideal. But a regular brother would work too. Or maybe a cousin, or a nephew (older woman younger guy), or even the husband's father would work (younger woman, older guy)! Depends on how you want to take it.
 
This is an interesting idea, in large part because the primal root cause of what we understand as attraction is really nature's way of having it's creatures inherently seek out the best genes. So while we may feel shallow at times for the people we are attracted to on a superficial level, the reason that attraction exists in the first place is really a built-in desire for us to make the most viable and fit offspring.

I think you could work that into your story as well: the notion that, rather than looking for character qualities like "is he a good father and provider" she would realize, perhaps out of awareness of human genetic frailty brought-on by her experience with her husband's infertility, that she should really be looking for the fittest buck. And the animal search to get the seed of the fittest bull lends itself to some dirty writing. ;)
 
How about the woman is a college assistant to a well known professor. She conducts classes from time to time and deals with his students mentorship/work assignements. She could handpick young, handsome and clever men needing the money to consider donating sperm. She finally decides on a guy who's from a wealthy family but who wants to ply his way through education on his own, without the money and political influence from his parents
 
Wow! I came in to see if I could help and found the first three paragraphs shockingly similar to my real life (in my late 20's).

She wanted to do things "the old fashioned way", but I couldn't do it first without getting emotionally connected and couldn't deal with her husband's son really being my son (or daughter) who I'd never be able to get close to.

Lets put a little science and shrewdness into the chemistry. Make her a university researcher in her late 30s with a biological clock ticking louder than a Metallica concert. She never had kids before because she and her husband had a boring marriage so they had put careers first. Now, they hardly ever have sex. She is working on a research study on sexual attraction and how it relates to conception and genetic selection. She decides since her husband isn't getting the job done, and since she wants the security of her marriage to raise the child in, she starts scouting the male students. She specifically looks for one who resembles her husband to fool him, and recruits the students to be part of the study. Once she narrows the candidates down to best choice, she lures him to bed because natural conception won't have a paper trail. The research shows that genetic compatibility means greater attraction and more satisfying sex, which is true in real life. She gets busy with the student and has the best sex in many years, so now she's hungry for him. If he panics when she gets knocked up, she can show him pics of her husband, his response is "holy crap! He looks like my dad/uncle." Follow on story could be her seducing him a little later, but this time because she's hoping for a second child, different gender than the first. To seduce him second time around, she raises the stakes by offering to get kinkier, anal or 3 way or some such

Brilliantly done! By the time she wants her second child the student might be working on the college/university too, as an intern or an assistent - not sure of the vocations, but you get the drift. Threat of sexing up the student gone, she could find the possibilty of being found and labeled the slut a turn on, leading to risky sexual encounters in public or semi public places
 
But what if the student she's selected has moved on to his true love when she wants to do him for the second child? Well, there is always that student's brothers, and his dad. They might be a bit hard to get ahold of, but maybe the student's sister could help.....

That girl was going to school one year behind the guy ....

Yes, she swore that it was very clinical in just the penetrative passing of his seed into her vagina. I like to believe that they just did what they needed to do without crossing lines as promised.
Maybe it's more difficult for a man not to cross lines or boundaries beyond what was promised, but I like to feel in my heart they remained honorable to her husband and his son. Giving their body parts to one another and just conceiving a life.
