Wat’s Carbon Water-N-Stuff Thread - Concepts In Iron And Wood!!!

^^^This poster presents simple-minded arguments against stronger licensing requirements for gun ownership and arrogantly poses as a "voice for rationality".

Idiots on parade in the Amerikkkan landscape.
I wasn't talking about licensing, but about bans. Let's be clear here. I have no issue with things like expanded background checks, but total bans and buybacks aren't the answer. Don't misrepresent my words.

O
Oh gosh, I feel so owned by you and Wat, and so very afraid.

And now I have to worry about you getting Kamala to own me, also. I suppose that's what I get for contradicting visions of grandeur.

I will simply have to accept my fate.

Current polls put Trump on track to win not only the election, but the popular vote.

Fate is a-coming and she's got real fangs so you best be getting prepared for the ass biting of a lifetime.

Hey, Constitutionally, if you can get letters of marque and reprisal.....you, too, can have a battleship and be a privateer. Good luck getting such letters nowadays, though. Even though we never signed the 1855 Declaration of Paris, we still act as if we did.

I had a conversation with a man at the gas pump day before yesterday. He surprised me about changing the topic to politics and then explaining how he was going to vote for Trump and not "that woman." Hell, I was just buying fuel to finish hauling my new/old car home. He seemed to appreciate our talk.

I think that I should like to have some documents authorizing me to engage in Righteous Retribution. It sounds like it could be fun and profitable.

You musta been somere's they ain't many highrise buildings.

Somehow a visible horizon let's you actually see what's going on around you both physically and metaphorically. In my neck of the woods there are Trump flags galore in the housing tracts. The mobile home parks are all Harris/Walz signs. Which ought to tell you something about the minds of people who cluster together and why they do it.

In your post, you have minimized the impacts of the internet-based gun culture coupled with grievance culture on the incidence of mass shootings. You have minimized the frequency of shootings in America. You have minimized the adverse impacts of readily available military grade weapons in the general population.

Certain high-capacity military weapons SHOULD be banned unless you have a specialized permit.

There we disagree. If you're mature enough and rational enough for a handgun, you're able to deal with an AR-15. If you can't handle the AR-15, you shouldn't be allowed any guns at all. It's not that I have minimized the aforementioned things. It's that I have brought them back into perspective after people like you have embellished them. I don't trust the Federal Government, or the states, for that matter, with a monopoly on the "weapons of war." Nor should anyone.

That's a shame, because good Coast Guard cutters aren't too expensive. Pick up one of those and a letter of marque and you could have some fun

I think the Philippines ought to consider issuing some now that China is trying to sink their supply ships.

I made mention that I've been northeast twice in the last 12 days or so. I do look at where I am and at the political signs dotting the landscape and spoiling the scenery. I saw the billboards in the so-called "battleground" state. The rest were mostly yard clutter.

If I had judged this man by his cover, I would have picked him to be a Dem. Younger, mostly. He wanted to talk about my cargo and discovered that I'm not too hard to get along with. Then he switched to how Society is becoming more distant and why he thinks that is. He was right, so I agreed. Then politics and who he was going to vote for. He probably profiled me without consulting my tailgate and bumper. The black-and-maroon banner would likely have meant nothing to him. We passed a pleasant few minutes at the fueling place, and that's the nice and human part - the bits that make getting up mornings worthwhile.

That and mocking Lit libturds . . . .

It was good work!

I like how you get people to go Full Mental AOC!

You missed the point, as usual.

If Trump wins, BTB will not be able to convince Kamala and "the Cheneys" to prosecute me.

Try your best to keep up with the context.

If I had the money, it would be so tempting to outfit a little flotilla....lightning raids and such. Oops, did you lose a ship? I don't know anything about that? I was just hanging out in Manila.

With side trips up and down the east Asian shoreline. What tales those waters could tell, were they so inclined.

I suggest a plentiful supply of tissues. You're going to need 'em.
If Trump wins, it will be a tragedy.

However, I do not whine and cry. That's why I was never a candidate for joining the MAGAts' grievance cult.

And asswipes. I anticipate lots of nerves-induced explosive diarrhea on its part. Perhaps some soothing ointments for its Pending Irritation.
You seem to be quite knowledgeable about this topic. You better get this irritation checked out-- it might be ass cancer.

All you do is whine and cry. To the point Lit could be a cheese bar and the rest of us the bartenders you're trying to confide in.
