Friends, my head has been everywhere lately for which I apologise. My daughter was pregnant but with age and health problems significantly increasing risk.

I am pleased to say that I am now a proud grandfather for the third time. Whilst it seems she had a difficult time both she and he are well. Now I can relax, thank the Good Lord and our NHS!

Congratulations Graylag! Nothing like a grandchild! Get him out in the hills ASAP and he’ll be a dog whisperer like yourself!

Is it Friday? My days start to merge when at work. Everyone bail out early and get the weekend started right.

Home. Bike took a dump on the way to the doc's. Check Engine Light. Won't run much over idle. I limped it back to the house. Damned thing. The truck is still in hauling car mode. I'm not driving downtown with that and it'll take awhile to offload safely. Fish dip!!!

Bummer! Hope it’s just a minor fix like a throttle cable bearing or something.

Excuse me for a minute while I vent.

I completely understand why US Veterans are committing suicide in the parking lots and stairwells of their VA clinics and hospitals. Complete incompetence. I had an annual appointment scheduled back last month which they cancelled two days before I was scheduled. I finally got in yesterday, only to wait 45 minutes after my scheduled time. While I’m waiting for my appointment two walk in patients were seen without an appointment.

BSK. I am so sorry, brother.

This is inexcusable. A lot of things are broken but the VA really fucking broken.

The worst place a veteran can be is in the parking lot after a bad appointment.

I hope you finally got in.

Problem there is that no one gives a fuck. It’s a bureaucratic fuck show.

#1 LOVE ❤ ♥ THE NEW DOC. no rush no hurry..didn't treat me like I was a bother.....

We are on point with a plan. He ordered some additional tests and said i need to go to gi and figure out what is going on. Changed my meds a little bit and re see him in 3 months

He was a resident at Grant(a LONG time ago) so we knew some of the same people....

So happy to see/hear that k!!

Glad you had a good rapport with the doctor and that he’s not rushing to get you out.

I hope you’re able to get some bottom of this…
