I’m with Brenda and WJ on this - Smarties.

Really I just want peanuts to stay out of my food - candy, brownies, sundaes, caramel covered apples. They throw off the texture and my mouth does not like it

Gosh … who knew making a candy battle thread would be so difficult.

I didn’t realize Canada and the USA had THAT much different candy.

While we’re on the subject, I’ve never heard of Chips Chupp lollipops either. Tootsie Roll Pops, Ring Pops, Original Gourment Lollipops and Dum Dums are probably the bigger lollipop brands here.

Also, I hate to say it, but your entire bracket is invalidated by the lack of Kit-kats, which should be the obvious winner.

I detest black licorice, as do most people with functioning tastebuds. I do like the cola-flavored gummies that are shaped like Coke bottles, despite being more of a Dr Pepper gal myself.

I hate to say this too, but Tootsie Rolls. How the fuck did Butterfingers manage to ruin something as amazing as PEANUT BUTTER?! I remember as a kid, when I would get down to the end of my Halloween candy stash, to the point of being desperate enough to eat Butterfingers, I would try to bite into the rock-hard candy, and either cronch through one torturous bite, or immediately give up, suck the chocolate off and throw the rest away. Tootsie Rolls are meh, good for like 2 seconds in the middle, then meh again, but at least they’re edible in their entirety.
