Care to weigh in, @Wonderer67 ?We have one too. It runs on a solar panels it’s not on a pedestal but we put one out in the winter near our bird feeders.

Im prolly talking out of turn, but the birds legs don’t seem to care how cold it is. They grab onto metal whe it’s freezing cold. They need some water so they stand and get water. The come doesn’t seen to affect them much.Care to weigh in, @Wonderer67 ?

We have resident Anna's here year round. People have posted on NextDoor how to keep the feeders from freezing in the winter.Very few make it this far south. I have seen two in my many years here. I did try to get pictures but it's a circular blur.
