This a worth speaking to I guess….there’s obviously an erotic thrill in light exhibitionism that’s strong enough to put personal pics here, but there’s also a mild terror of someone downloading them. Potentially even somehow identifying me in my non-Lit life (I don’t post my face, but it’s still pictures of me), but honestly I really hate the idea of them being downloaded and kept for any reason. So the usual balance between the two is to post them for a brief time. I understand how that can frustrating, but also don’t want to start feeling obliged to post more.

You must remember that Lit is an international site. People are viewing what you post all over the world and if you leave your photos up for a short tie, someone in Australia or Hawaii or Europe will have no hope of seeing your photo. I understand your fear, and it is justified, but you should consider leaving your posts up for at least 12 hours for the foreign members.
