nude beach

Well, sports fans happy to report that my little (and first) adventure to a clothing-optional resort (or "CO" for you tragically-hip individuals), was quite successful.

We visited Caliente (https://calienteresorts.com/) near Tampa. here's my quick summary:
Pros:
- large - the "resort" is more of a gated community with full, part-time and visitor residence.
- Shuttles to drive you around
- INCREDIBIBLY friendly and professional staff
- great vibe - not overwhelming even for a couple of newbies like my wife and I
- food - MUCH better than expected
- patrons - wide variety of looks/ages/shapes/sizes/kinks
- Night Club - a decent club with ok music (would have liked a different play list but - hey - that's me)
- Amenities - on site massage spa - wife and I got a couples massage - her's a guy mine a woman.
- Lifestyle friendly - but not "in your face"
- Playroom - new - we didn't go in, so can't say if it was good or not but they do have one.
- Pools - great, large central pool and a really nice and engaging "conversation" pool. Lots of great "conversation" was observed.

Cons: (being my first time not much to compare here other than other, non-CO resorts and vacation spots)
- could of used a good 'ol power washing all over (building exteriors looked "dirty" in spots - something easily taken care of with a power-washer-enabled maintenance crew)
- the cabins or casitas are basically modular houses/trailer on permanent foundations. functional, clean etc but a bit cheezy and most of their decks needed to be replaced
- Website - worlds worst website. Not sure why - it wouldn't take much to give it a modern refresh with accurate pictures and tools that work (and you can find) like scheduling a massage or booking a room

All in all we had a great time and would go back!

I have a fwb in Tampa and thought it would be great to reserve a room at this resort for a weekend.

We're just back from a short break in Normandy and Brittany, basically hoping down the North coast. The weather has mainly been pretty good, I've been in shorts and T-shirt the entire time. Three trips to nudist beaches, the first with my wife (me naked, her in a costume ) one other (French) couple (both costumed, though she was topless) - nice swim and sunbathe. Second, I went on my own as my wife was tired and wanted a nap, about ten people on the beach, six(?) naked. One couple got a bit frisky and discretely had sex, I wasn't the only one watching from a distance lol Third time was saturday, beach was more busy, maybe twenty people well spread out, might be my last time naked on a beach this year :(

De rigueur in France- the only people who do wear a bikini top/ bra in public are tinies/ complex teens / elderly of a certain generation. So for most, along the cote d'Azur its standard uniform. And thongs proliferate as well.
