Oh, and just to be clear, we libs aren't trying to keep semi-automatic and fully automatic weapons out of the hands of "certain elements". We don't want ANY elements to have those kinds of weapons. Even those who might be on our side politically.

The last time that anyone revolted over a mere election, it didn't end well for the rebels (a little thing called the Civil War....you might have heard of it). You win, you lose, you take your lumps, you move on. It's not worth revolting because your side didn't win. Just take your lumps and try again later.

Go on, say who it is. Acknowledge that it’s the community of gun owners who are responsible for most shootings.

Either directly through their own actions, or by a sloppy culture of leaving their guns to be used by their children.
 
All last week I rode around with 2 semi automatic rifles and around 1000 rounds of ammo in the back seat. So what?
