took me 2 weeks full immersion before i could understand the Scots accent. time well spent IMO...
of course most of this immersion happened in the pubs
(as it should )

Mom is not getting what she wants, and she is being a fussy little bitch about it. It’s always something with her.


She is being a good lesson for what I do not want to be for my children in my decrepitude

Good day of work at our farm.

Leveled out ten yards of wood chips a friend of mine dumped while we were away. Built a nice extension “road” from the yard to the woods using the chips.

Rounded some firewood for my farmhand. Cleaned up a bunch of logs, branches and sticks. Cleaned up my firing range. I think I’m gonna shoot tomorrow.

Now just enjoying the imperial early evening. It’s so nice out, fire going, fall flowers in full bloom.

The Jungle Carbine was the mark 5. I just saw one online in the last 48 hours is how it happened to be in my head. I'll have to spend time with this one to figure out what year - I don't know yet.

Autumn crocus. These are very cool flowers that bloom twice in the year, early spring, and early fall. Neither my wife or I recall seeing them before five years ago, and we did not plant them. Who knows?
