Listen to your body, H. You need to take it easy until you start feeling better. Thanks B2! It’s one of those sneaky colds, stuffy head, then it moved to my chest with a slight cough this a.m. Just that yucky run down feeling. Rested and plenty of fluids. Tried to get out and get some fresh air and helped pick up the downed limbs from the storm but quickly flamed out (it was humid) and took a hour nap. Hopefully felling better today.

We have really needed it! It was misty raining this morning when I took the girl out at the crack of dawn. (0900)I wish it rained here....
I did that last night.I am up and down all night...it is rough.... hard to fall asleep hard to stay asleep
Wonderful! You're killing it!-5 this week...... wow sort of wasn't expecting that.... my first reward is coming....... dont know what it is gonna be yet
How is your leg, RJ? Can you take her to a park? But, you're active. I've got nothing to do, except being a caregiver to Mrs Rj
...Lady K is Mrs Rj...
Start making bucket lists now. Noth8ng is too small to go on the list! When you get close, make a 6-month plan of things you want to do.Mine too. I like my job but I really want to start doing things for me.
I know that sounds selfish, but I can’t wait! Talked to a nice couple yesterday who made the transition to retirement and they said it was actually hard at first. I believe it. I’d like to find out!
Because you needed to? Or wanted to?Very difficult after 4 years I still catch myself thinking I should of kept working
That has to be so frustrating! Do they do what they want then turn it back on you like it was your idea?Me too... I will do things..just won't be trapped in a job where I have to answer to other people and do things I don't want to do..... I am tired of all of them and it..... today I am tired of being asked my opinion when not one time is my opinion even considered when final decision made ...to that I say fuck off
I have a lot of work angst... I have fed guidelines to follow and the others just do whatever they want ... I layed down my line in the sand this am.....of things i will and will not be doing. The new person who is responsible in education in a job she has never done before is on my last nerve. my boss is clueless but she is gonna find out. I am at the I dont care point and I am inches from calling a previous manager to transfer and do a job that isn't so much. It is almost impossible to do my job.... and I am not gonna emotionally and mentally kill myself over it
Our theme song?Have some work but I'll leave a tune.

Excellent advice, G!I think you are taking it too personally if I may say so. I look at things this way:
You ask my opinion
You get me opinion based on my experience
You consider my opinion and discount it
That’s your prerogative it’s your pay grade not mine
After that I move on as it’s not my problem and if you come back bleating I will just say ….well did you follow my opinion….no….not my problem then
Besides, you have us to vent to!Yeah... I had a strong talk with myself and I am taking your advice.... I need to just let it bloody go already..... emotion thinking is a waste of time
80% of your time is spent on the 20% or less who are fucking up!Home. Had the insubordinate subordinate today. He has an appointment with Wat's direct boos in the morning. Maybe he can decide who he works for after that chat. Or if he has a job at all. And a great deal of my shit didn't get done. Fuck it . . . .
Sleep well tonight, Wat! Rest peacefully and dream extravagantly!Meh. Off to read. Cuidado, amigos.
That went by fast! Have fun at the ball field!Suzie and I just saw a Buster Keaton silent film, The Cameraman, one of the last silent films.
Was fabulously funny. A boatload of sight gags, physical humor, and great camerawork. Keaton was a comic genius.
They had a dude there who was playing the piano and it was great accompaniment for the film.
Just a great night!!
Last night of vacation. We’re headed to see the Mets play the hated Phillies tomorrow nite and then driving home right after the game.
Oops have I hit nerve!
Good night, L!
It is both, G!Well here I am, for those going to bed it’s my goodnight picture, and for those waking it’s my good morning picture and for @Lilianna23 its probably both
