As for inside job, I doubt it, those Secret Service guys on his detail are pretty committed, even if some are DHS and not well trained. Like the 1st one, those women might have been sloppy but they put themselves between Trump and bullets without any hesitation. This time to from all accounts. Can't fault them.

I think it's higher up at the political level, with sloppy staffing and management leaving holes and diversity hires without the needed professional skillset. The rot starts at the top. In this case, it looks like someone who likely knew he played golf there and went with that.....

In the past, both sides accepted the results of elections and then waited and fought it out at the next one. That's changed, with "the resistance" and lawfare, and electoral systems that was no longer trusted. And Hillary calling people Deplorables, and people like you using that term, just makes it worse and accentuates the split.

I really only see a few options here
(1) we revise our political system to eliminate the Feds at all levels except national defense and a few external related functions, return power to the States and function more as a commonwealth, and at the same time separate off blue cities from the red hinterland, breaking up some states and allowing each to prery muh dpowhatever the fuck they want within the constraints of a Constitutional Republic. or
(2) we separate, and that would be much the same as (1) above but messier, or
(3) we go for it and settle it, with everything that entails
(4) Trump wins, we clean up the electoral system, deport 50,000,000 illegals, jail and execute the traitors, clean out the Federal Govt, and roll back every single fucking thing the Democrats have fucked the US over with for the last 50 years, and cut Fed spending to about 10% of what it is and pay down the umpteen trillions in dept - and while we're at it, break up Black Rock, Vanguard, and the multinationals and the hige chains like Walmarts that have destroyed much of America

Could be he didn't know, and was just the kind of gun-nut who carries his AK-47 around with him on his Sunday strolls (they do exist, and you know it). Could be he made an educated guess, based on the fact that Trump spends a lot of time golfing on that course - so the absence of anything on his public schedule is a clue he could be there. This is not the gotcha you want it to be.

And by the way, a reporter asked Trump if he would denounce the bomb threats in Springfield. And...
