This is the second serious assassination attempt in 2 months.

The far left is growing increasingly openly violent, instigated by the violent rhetoric of Democratic Party leaders and representatives. This is not unexpected, since Democratic Party spokespeople have never turned down the extremist "Trump is Hitler" rhetoric. The Reverend Dr. Jacqui Lewis for example, said on MSNBC’s broadcast of “The Saturday Show” that former President Donald Trump is “exactly like” Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. Lewis added, “And we’re not going to get what we want if we elect this fascist, authoritarian weasel.”

That's only one example, this extreme leftist nonsense comes thick and fast and we see it on this Board every day. It's this kind of dangerous rhetoric that stokes the insanity and leads to these crackpots making these attempts, and it needs to be rolled back and apologized for across the board.
