Any Women Not Okay With Receiving Cunnilingus?

I'm a guy, and I had a woman stop me from going down on her. In fact, she stopped me on two different occasions. All she said was that "We didn't know each other well enough for that." She was post-menopausal so it couldn't have been her period. And the 'know each other well enough' comment seemed to imply that she liked getting head, but only after getting to know her guy really well.

I was really surprised, and disappointed. I love giving women orgasms that way, and a few of them have been driven to tears from it so I think my technique must be at least adequate.

My questions to ladies out there: Is this common? Should guys wait to be asked? Are women 'putting up with it' instead of really enjoying it?

It's all about the technique of the cunnilinguser(sic).

Done properly it is a sure path to orgasm, but some guys (and gals) either don't understand the anatomy, or are way too rough, like biting, or just too lazy. I don't have any friends who don't enjoy it if the person knows what they are doing.

There's a lot of male ignorance on the subject.

A lot of guys think this and (a) assume all women want and need it and (b) it may be the only way they cum and (c) if they can only do it for long enough they can prove what a special lover they are. It's like being able to go down on a woman for hours is some kind of badge of honour.

One of my best friends hates it. She hates her clit being touched. It's hyper sensitive and can be painful to touch. Lick the hood, or around the clit, she goes crazy, but she's bored of men fucking it up so generally avoids it.

I like it but don't always want it. And if the guy doesn't know what he's doing, having him slurping and drooling down there is kind of boring.

Sometimes I love it, especially if the guy knows his shit, but never for more than about 10 minutes, often less, cos I get too sensitive down there after a couple of orgasms. Stick a finger up my bum as you lick me and i'll probably cum quicker.

Sometimes fingers are way more effective.

It's not hard. Communicate, and learn to read a woman's body.

I think the question was even allowing a lover to try

I guess Hollywood needs to push this more and make it sexy !!

Yes, indeed. The question was about actually allowing it. And my answer was from all the women I had between I started and my current 63, only about 50% allowed it other refused for many different reasons from "it being dirty" to "risking disease" etc.

Noting that diving into clit right always is bad strategy
Good thing that’s how I was taught

The 'being dirty' thing is your fault, guys (obvs none here specifically, I'm sure you're all faultless).

I was following a discussion on fetlife a while ago about this. SO MANY women said they were uncomfortable with a guy going down on them because of an early experience of a guy down there complaining that it smelled, or it was gross, or it looked wierd or whatever.

It doesn't take a lot to give women a bad impression of what's down there. Egos are fragile. Imagine if the first time a woman went down on you they told you it tasted gross. Or if they took one look at your todger and said wow, I've never seen one that small before. Actually, most of you wouldn't care. You'd still want to fuck.

I was lucky, the first guy to taste me was good at oral and told me I tasted beautiful. That stayed with me like forever. If he'd said something derogatory, I'd probably not enjoy it now.

I always praise their pussy, just want them to get off.

Outside of porn and most non-NC erotic stories, "tasting gross" or being otherwise unfortunate that males want that, fellatio or at least ejaculating in her mouth is usually depicted and joked about as being nothing a female would include if she were redesigning his whole sex thing. It's universally played for laughs in PG-13 films (U.S. reference, these are films where no one 12 and under should attend). Stand-up comedy, particularly among comediennes? A staple.

You're 100% right, we persevere for the sake of the pleasure, but it's not all rainbows and unicorn farts on this side, either!

I hate receiving oral, I refuse to do it.

For me, it's a sensory/neurodivergent thing. I can't handle the wet, the soft and squishy mouth and tongue. It feels disgusting and I can't do it. It feels terrible.

Some cocky asshole with a ~magic~ tongue isn't going to rewire my brain to be non-autistic and suddenly love having my pussy eaten.

Out of the many women I have been with only one didn't like receiving oral. The others loved it. One gave me my name here

My wife doesn’t like it and I love to do it. It bums me out, but if she doesn’t like it, I’m not going to push it.

I just don't push it if she's uncomfortable. I personally don't get much out of fellatio so why would I expect her to get uncomfortable for me?

The woman Ive dated over the years have varied desires on this subject, from hell no (due childhood abuse) to hell yes! I of course enjoy the "hell yes!' women. But I do try to listen and respond to what a woman is telling me she wants. I also try to be hygienic as much a possible. Bottomline, I love it and love it when a woman gets off on it.

I learned at an early age that women love having their pussies eaten. I was eating pussy long before any of my friends, and getting good at it got me a lot of repeat customers. A lot. I learned that many woman can only cum from being licked, and some only if they are sufficiently licked first. All important lessons. I was in my 30s when I learned that not all women like it equally, and some not at all. Two in particular stand out. One could only cum once per session, and she preferred to get that orgasm through fucking, rather than receiving a tongue lashing. The first time I did not listen to her and proceeded to lick her to completion was also the last time. After she came -quite hard - she informed me she could not continue, and so I left with an acute case of blue balls. Lesson learned. A few years later I had a relationship with a woman who just did not care for it. She wanted to be fucked and fucked hard, and did not have time for getting licked. She would indulge me sometimes, but that was for my benefit, not hers. Eventually I learned to just give her what she wanted and save my tongue for other women who enjoyed it more.

Us men have it pretty easy really.
Our wieners are just sticking out there and easy to figure out. Easy to stimulate.
For women everything is hidden and complicated, and you just figure it out and then have a baby and everything gets shoved around again!

I like to go down on a woman after she has been fucked. Pussy taste different after a dick has been having its way in it. I went down on a woman one time after my roommate and I both had sex with her in a threesome. She ended up staying the night in my room. She woke me up masturbating and told me to go down on her. I did and her pussy tasted way different. But she loved it.

Agree completely. Both after I have been inside or previously in a MMF they taste completely different after having had a dick in them. Precum I guess is a contributor.

My wife of nearly 54 years wouldn't let me go down on her until we'd been married almost 18 years. After 36 years of 'Eating Out At The Y' she still wonders why she waited so long. Just so you know, I'm turning 78 the first of next month, and she is turning 77, 6 days later.
