The other day I heard the best explanation of the difference between Gen Z and Gen Z ever

Gen X-my generation- came of age for the most part in the 80's. The 80's were still a fairly conservative time (Regan wins 48 of 50 states in 1984) and we had the wars on rock and role, and sex and all this other crap. So what we became was irreverent. We laughed at everything, told jokes about everything, mocked everything and took none of it seriously. Now yes, some of the things we said or laughed at probably should not have been treated that way, but all of it was in the vein of giving the finger to the boomers who were our parents and a way to stuffy and moral mantra.


Now we have Gen Z who laughs at nothing. They literally cannot laugh at anything because they are so afraid someone, anyone, could be offended. They can't laugh, but man, can they hate. They hate everything, angry about everything and really don't have that much to be angry about.

We laughed and had a good time. They are miserable and full of malice.

But yes, call yourselves progressives.
