I agree with you Misk. Actual trainers typically avoid the BMI charts and focus on ones actual percent body fat. Your body fat can fluctuate but the discussion seems to be shifting to metabolic health. It's gonna be hard to find doctors who understand that and it's relationship to nutrition. I've been on a plateau for months and I'm thinking maybe that's just where i "are".

In the army, I was always borderline overweight. It didn’t make a lick of sense and there was twice when I weighed in and was overweight by a pound or two.

Quick run with one of those plastic sweat jackets would always take a pound or two off pretty quickly!

It almost got me kicked out of Basic Leaders Course (aka, sergeants school). Did the weigh in and the obligatory run and made it!

I don’t miss that bullshit!

I was over the tape standards and I looked at him and asked “what are you going to do?” I had my retirement orders and my award was done. Not much they could do except keep me from retiring.

Ugh... my nephew is a wrestler, and they're weigh-ins and all that are ridiculous. I categorically told him if I ever caught him trying to lose 20 lb in 2 days by dehydrating yourself and wearing foil suits and running 30 miles or not eating, I would be very upset. You don't need to do that wrestle in a higher weight

Well @Missk_2022 today on the hill it was 80 degrees and nae midges. Just a bit too hot for me and the dogs but simply gorgeous! I still managed to get up the hill though and the dogs were dowsed in the burns!
