So, yesterday was very, very wet on the hill. Fortunately it was warm so no need to bundle up just get the rainwear on. For their first full day picking up the dogs did well and didn’t run out of steam by the end …. nor did I to my surprise. Third drive of the day I was with the top gun for anything dropped in the water but it was largely a case of working the dogs down into the valley bottom to find birds as in the picture. It’s hard work but they are fit and can run up and down the face without difficulty.

I still have some blueberries from 2023, so I think we’ll be good!

IKR - I hate when someone else’s problems become mine. I get it.

Plus, I’m going on vacation in two weeks and I’m trying to jam a bunch of my own shit into this week and next too.

Ugh - yes. Today's co-worker is feeling stressed about work tasked to them. By lunchtime I had already cleared 3x the amount of work. Sure, mgmt knows about the issue but mgmt also has this week off, along w/ another co-worker. So anything this person doesn't work falls solely on me. grrr

Never did watch that show... but a few bits (like that one) have been referenced enough that I follow.

It's barely morning anymore here, but I just caught up and it's my first chance so good morning to all. Hugs to several of you who sound like times are tough. Hang in there. Just working on cleaning and setting the classroom up for first day tomorrow. A lot of work as first I had to get rid of fifty years of outdated curriculum and garbage the former room resident left behind. Have a great day everyone! Haven't had to for a classroom. Doesn't sound fun

I really only watch if I'm related to someone on the field.
All of the younger niblings play at least 1 sport now - I watch their games from time to time. Football is one of the sports represented. The 2 oldest may play for fun but have aged out of school sports now.

Spent the evening with my dad and mom. And my bff neighbors. Put up a 2x4 in the shed. Now to get hooks for the yard implements. Also got an old worktop with drawers and shelves.... old and beat up...but serviceable.... came from my dads garage. Now time.for dinner.

I love stuff like that. I'll have to take a picture of my old store fixture/furniture that I keep tools in. It is really one of those "envy me, bitches" pieces if you have tools and need lots of space to store them. My parents got it in 1970 or so and I coveted it for decades. I got it maybe 13-14 years ago. I took it Out West last year and put it in properly blocked and level and then loaded it to the gills.


Worked all day. Welding for 3 hours afterwards. Sleeping like the dead here in a few minutes.
