I want both recipes.

I've made these scones. I had some when I was in Hawaii and just HAD to see if I could find a recipe. I use my salad shooter to grate frozen butter into the batter. As the butter melts during baking, it creates a very tender crumb.

I have a LOT of recipes bookmarked!

Happy Monday!!! It's Drive Day again, heading Back East. Everything that has to go is on the truck except for me and my personal bits. SSS, finish coffee #2, dress and pack and load. I'll do my best not to start any trouble.

My travel times are when my kid travels out of state to see her dad. Right now, it's Thanksgiving, one week during Christmas break, and the entire month of June and half of July. Holidays are when I would love to go because of weather, but family gets all into holidays. I just don't have an interest in them lately. Maybe I will get the feeling back, but for right now, I'd love to take off and have a solo trip.

Maybe take a break from family this holiday season to have some Impy time.

It’s been the hottest most humid, most mosquito infested summer I can remember in a long time. Throw in TS-Debby and all that’s left is a big hurricane (may the almighty smite me for even mentioning) to put a cherry on top. Please Lord…send some fall weather…thunderstorms and humid today….good day for a nap.

Ol Ken Anderson! He was a good QB. Rooted for him against the 49’s in the ‘82 SB…although the 49’s had beaten the hated Cowgirls (life long Redskin fan) and it was a toss-up for me…he was good though!

I had a pup many years ago who had the one ear up and one ear down. She had it as a puppy when I first got her and kept it always. Occasionally she would have both up, but as soon as she would tilt her head it would pop back down. She was goofy. If I was laying on the floor and it took her a minute to notice me there, she would get a goofy grin (if you can call it that) and run and dive sideways into my body snuggling up like it was for her lol. She was huge too. I would have to brace for it.

Dogs are just the best! Although mine is very aloof and cat-like, too!

Coffee is working now....still waiting for that much needed first cup

I got hiccups right now. My family laughs at me but when I get them I drink water slowly while making circles on the bottom of my cup and focusing on my finger. Works really well

Definitely looking forward to cooler weather. We set records this summer for constant heat all summer and I hate that.

Hope you all have a nice day ahead. We're headed to my classroom for some last minute clean up/set up and then some swimming.

Normally I make fettuccine fairly thin (I don't have a spaghetti extruder sadly) this iteration was set pretty thick to put with a beef brandy and mushroom sauce from leftovers. The noodle came out like an Amish thick egg noodle as intended. I have a severe distaste for wasting food if I've been blessed enough to obtain it. AI like the challenge of making something wonderful out of scraps whenever possible.

Rain is the best weather ever. We need it here
