I've been trying to plant natives, they're more drought tolerant and as the name implies they do well here.

I hadn’t mowed my lawn in 2 weeks. Felt like till mid June I was mowing it every five days or so.

But it needed it and it was good to get it mowed but yeah, it’s kinda brown. I think it rained overnight so that’s good.

It’s been quite lovely lately. This is the time of year where I don’t mind living in this state. I like to go to beer & wine tastings and street fairs/festivals.

It was a very nice morning to had done the lawn today. Previous weeks id be laying on the grass and probably would be dead due to to heat exhaustion.

Up here and NNJ we had about 10 or 15 minutes of that kind of rain but it's subsided already. Must've been a passing front?

Yep ...... finally right?!?! It's been days since we got this kind of sun and it's really nice to see said sun went on a quick jog and had that song " I can see clearly now " on which was appropriate enjoy the weekend!
