Good morning all.

Coffee is working now....still waiting for that much needed first cup

I got hiccups right now. My family laughs at me but when I get them I drink water slowly while making circles on the bottom of my cup and focusing on my finger. Works really well

Definitely looking forward to cooler weather. We set records this summer for constant heat all summer and I hate that.

Hope you all have a nice day ahead. We're headed to my classroom for some last minute clean up/set up and then some swimming.

I grate cold (real) butter into my scones when making them. It makes them very flaky and melt-in-your-mouth.

I tried this once. We ended up ordering pizza at 2330...

Normally I make fettuccine fairly thin (I don't have a spaghetti extruder sadly) this iteration was set pretty thick to put with a beef brandy and mushroom sauce from leftovers. The noodle came out like an Amish thick egg noodle as intended. I have a severe distaste for wasting food if I've been blessed enough to obtain it. AI like the challenge of making something wonderful out of scraps whenever possible.

I had a pup many years ago who had the one ear up and one ear down. She had it as a puppy when I first got her and kept it always. Occasionally she would have both up, but as soon as she would tilt her head it would pop back down. She was goofy. If I was laying on the floor and it took her a minute to notice me there, she would get a goofy grin (if you can call it that) and run and dive sideways into my body snuggling up like it was for her lol. She was huge too. I would have to brace for it.

For sure sounds like sven..... he has no sense if personal space

That is amazing... I like to do the same thing.... but if all else fails... the chickens will eat it... I got some acorn squash that I roasted and never roasted. It was large enough but like never ripened inside.... this weather is odd.... I gave to the chickens

Im exactly the same way. I get all crazy when food goes bad. I am an expert at making use of leftovers and when we have too much stuff.

Stirfrys, salad toppings, soups, sauces.

I hate throwing food out. We do compost an all of fruit and veggy scraps and leftovers.

I watered plants, took my girl on some walkies, and got some minor things done.

I've started a "Shit To Do" list on my phone. Seems I can't keep things in my head very well now. I do feel VERY productive when I can cross something off my list.

Pro Tip: vinegar does not, in fact, help take the heat/sting out of sunburn. It does make you smell like a and hate vinegar for the rest of your life
