In my younger years, when I lived in Philadelphia, Mrs Rj wanted to visit her sister in Riverside, California. We were going to go with her parents and "dad" & I would share driving, you read right! Pop-in-Law had ear problems so we drove. It took 6 Days, by the end of day four, I was sick of looking at the road and we were only in New Mexico. Two days yet to go & mostly on route 66.
Next time I'll sprout wings and fly...
I lived near there when I was in CA. I lived in Redlands, the out skirts of San Bernadino. If I remember correctly Riverside was right there in the cluster too. My sister dated a guy from there

P.s. I need to slow down on the water.... it makes me go to the bathroom so much and it is like strip searched (in a bad way) to get up from the computer at the testing center
Treat it like a fasting. Stop drinking it after a certain hour tonight. 4 hours is long. My EIT exam after graduating college was 8 hours. It had two 4 hour sessions with a half hour to eat in between, like anyone could eat with the stress level.

Dinner time? I'm enjoying a cup o coffee

Well shoot.... I think you need to bring some sage and holy water and use prior to his arrival..... maybe will calm him down

Yeah . . . no . . . . Today was bizarre for him. We can't be having this shit again.

In other news, I foud an old school pizzeria in town near the job. I had forgotten that place. I ordered my coworker pizza for his b-day, and it was damned fine midday dining. A good time was had by all.

I kinda remember when the first ex took the EIT. Pretty sure she did it one weekend near graduation. Of course, she did fine - always did. There was lots of fiendish studying. She was always good at stuff like that.

I would get with a friend to study but then we would party instead. I couldn't bring myself to study at all every time I would sit down to, something would come up.

I walked into the test and they asked "what do you want your second to be, Mechanical or general?" We had the choice for the second session. We could choose our major again or the general engineering. I chose my major, so both were mechanical. I was so unprepared and was told 60% don't even pass anyways that I was sure I wouldn't pass it because of the lack of studying.

It was so much like system dynamics which was my favorite course, so I ended up passing. My friend did not. I still have the steel pinky ring somewhere from that. The next year they canceled the System Dynamics course from the curriculum. I was shocked because it was so much like that exam.
