We've had some issues with the media lately. Even for a while now. They are driving narratives and for them it is, essentially, clickbait over country. We saw it with HRC's buttery males. And now they are literally going all in on the Biden stories. Regardless of truth - and they have been caught in multiple lies now. Not just Fox or OAN. But CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NY Times, WaPo, Sinclair ... corporate media. (I'm not arguing the legitimacy of the discussion, only that they are pounding it into the ground. Even Beryl didn't budge it. People still without power, Abbot MIA but not a peep. Anyway...)

Currently a lot of the media outlets are owned by active Trump supporters. Those who aren't, are still multi millionaires and billionaires.

From what I am seeing, they are putting their business interests and profit above everything else. Even over the very country they exist in. I'm not prone to conspiracy theories however it is more than just a coincidence at this point that Trump's BING BONG BOOP moments aren't being shown far and wide but we are endlessly discussing Biden's alleged impending embrace of life as a piece of broccoli. Regardless that his administration is still clocking victories. Even Project 2025 - the most searched political topic is barely making a showing. Maybe one article per site. One. Maybe.

If this is the "news", then they are failing us.

Who agrees with David Zazlov? That we need more deregulation and more consolidation?

And when DJT graces us with his presence once again, 95% LESS GOVERNMENT! That will be happening soon! 100% TRUTH NOTHING CAN STOP WHATS COMING! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Oh we always need more deregulation. That always works out so great for the every day American.

Who needs clean water? Who needs affordable utilities?

Who usually pushes the deregulation the most?

Well now....

I saw the original segment.

So, no vetting of the panel? Seems pretty stupid that the guy didn't delete his social media history. He's obviously a trumper from his posting history.

Maybe the 34 counts changed his mind? Or the Registered Republican shooting at the Orange Jesus woke him up like a splash of cold water?

I'm not sure what he told CNN to get on the panel - except that he was undecided. But at the end of the segment he (re)affirms his support for Trump.

Either CNN does no vetting of the people on their panels, which well there's a way to make yourself untrustable, or he was planted. Same result of not being able to trust them either way.

Was the guy planted or did he lie to CNN about being undecided? Why didn't CNN look into his posting history? If he was planted, whose bright idea was it to keep the posts up?

Well bright and his posts…..MAGA isn’t known for intelligence.

Nope they aren't.

But I'm talking about CNN here for this one. They let an obvious trumper on their panel as an undecided. So who fucked up the vetting? It's a pretty big fuck up that they have a dude on a panel that they've put on TV and the internet acting as an undecided but is actually MAGA.

CNN has been trying to hook as many folks they can from the propoganda network for a while now… if they can do it with they will.

Breaking news… broke months ago usually.

But they cover the shit out of most stuff, just these panels can be suspect.

At this point, not can be. Are. Especially from CNN.

CNN should address this. They've got a trumper on a panel who they've put on air (multiple times from what I understand) who they propped up as an undecided.

Gives wrong guide something to cream over… he needs all he can get as a poor loner.

"Bring Back Trump"– CNN "Undecided Voter" Panelist Has Pro-Trump Social Media History

Meet Bryant Rosado who was disappointed that Mike Pence didn't overturn the election for Trump

A man introduced as an undecided voter during a CNN segment following Kamala Harris' speech on Day 4 of the Democratic National Convention has a history of supporting MAGA online. CNN host Gary Tuchman said all panelists claimed to be undecided voters at that time.

More government weight on the scale will not fix what you perceive as a problem. The problem isn't the media, it's the people and events they're covering. You say Trump has "BING BONG BOOP" moments but those aren't as immediately important as Biden thinking that turning nuclear missiles "gay" is necessary. Given the limited time frame to report current events, as well as the limited intellect of most journalists these days, the choice of which bit of news to cover is clear and it's not Trump.

I do believe legacy media is heavily biased to the Left. Tech media is biased even further to the Left than Legacy media. You can see this in how Musk was treated before he purchased Twitter and how the Left screamed when he removed their censorship programs. And how they're still screaming even today. What this left leaning bias does is result in the media reporting more about the things done by their chosen ideological class members than on other events. This gets the Left more air time and the result is that the flaws show up albeit unintentionally.

What doesn't show up are all the other losses and hits this administration is taking in business and in court. The Title IX LBGT rewrite effort failed. The Green energy disasters and failures aren't being reported on. DEI is going to the wayside as corporations dump those policies and employees. And more including immigration and voting rights losses.

The reason these things aren't being reported isn't because the media is "pro Trump," it's because if the media mentioned them they'd cause the base to lose heart politically. It would underscore what I've said before; you've lost the culture war. So to protect you, the media reports about Leftist ideals and events. Which, upon exposure to sunlight, shows those ideals and events to be exactly what they are.

Deflecting to/about Trump is the only way to avoid facing those truths. Unfortunately, that doesn't work when the reporting shows how badly the Left is faring, even if done unintentionally.

Let's not be hasty here, chum. We can revisit this after the election. One of us will be wrong.
I pray for the sake of American democracy it will be you and your fellow fascisti.

And remember...

DEI is going away. You lost.
ESG is going away. You lost.
Green energy is done. You lost.
EV's are over. You lost.
Transgenderism is on its way out. You lost.
Gun control is toast. You lost.
Student loan forgiveness ruled illegal. You lost.

Denialism is still king in your world though. You're still a winner there.

Huh, AP is supposed to be one of the (slightly left leaning) media gold standards. Maybe the headlines were actually the same, and a bit of a dry joke, since everyone knows if trumps lips are moving he’s lying.

I think it's more likely that even the media knows they can't whitewash all the lies at the DNC convention. It truly was nothing but lies.
