Great weather for the last day and the heat and humidity returns. My first day prepping for the colonoscopy as they said I must be off my diabetes medication as it interferes with the anesthesia. I have to watch my diet.

What a week…

Monday - fun. Went to nude beach w wife and seafood.
Tuesday - moved my mom into new LTC facility and wrestled w NJ Medicaid.
Wednesday- Philly for work, then tractor pulls.
Thursday - wresting with Medicaid for my mom. My poor sister who is also POA, lost her phone.
Today. - wee stinking a Medicaid again and more legal and bank shit. Trying to get some work done this afternoon.

I like this picture below. From the tractor pulls. Everyone had really nice tractors, and this guy had a rusty old deere. As he was waiting for his turn, his GF came up to spend time w him on the fender of the tractor. He did great btw. Came in fourth.

Happy Friday!!! It feels like a gyp to have to go in today because my pay hit the bank yesterday. But there is work to be done, and there is that.


Years ago, some Lit buddies and I talked about a commune of sorts for old age/later in life stuff. Most of them are no longer single. But Wat is on the More Dirt Acquisition plan/goal, so there may be communal options. Forty minutes outside of town and a few miles from the Amish market. Beef is available by the cow. Part of it is available for a large vegibbles garden/small farming operation. I like the idea of planting next year's food supply. There be options as Life moves inexorably forward. I just don't see cities as being sustainable.


Anyway, cup #1 is done, so refill . . . .
