Some other friends of mine have talked about a commune for us to gather in our old(er) age. I'm not good with farming, animal husbandry, or cleaning but I can cook and bake! And nails! I can paint nails!Happy Friday!!! It feels like a gyp to have to go in today because my pay hit the bank yesterday. But there is work to be done, and there is that.
Years ago, some Lit buddies and I talked about a commune of sorts for old age/later in life stuff. Most of them are no longer single. But Wat is on the More Dirt Acquisition plan/goal, so there may be communal options. Forty minutes outside of town and a few miles from the Amish market. Beef is available by the cow. Part of it is available for a large vegibbles garden/small farming operation. I like the idea of planting next year's food supply. There be options as Life moves inexorably forward. I just don't see cities as being sustainable.
Anyway, cup #1 is done, so refill . . . .
