The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Happy Friday!!! It feels like a gyp to have to go in today because my pay hit the bank yesterday. But there is work to be done, and there is that.

Years ago, some Lit buddies and I talked about a commune of sorts for old age/later in life stuff. Most of them are no longer single. But Wat is on the More Dirt Acquisition plan/goal, so there may be communal options. Forty minutes outside of town and a few miles from the Amish market. Beef is available by the cow. Part of it is available for a large vegibbles garden/small farming operation. I like the idea of planting next year's food supply. There be options as Life moves inexorably forward. I just don't see cities as being sustainable.

Anyway, cup #1 is done, so refill . . . .

I lost 19 lbs my first week...dont be alarmed it always happens fluid and toxins being washed away. I have a long way to go.... I want to put in some rewards...not food based.... for milestones...ultimate goal prize is a trip to Europe (here i come grey)..... I also want a comfort sweatshirt. They are weighted and cozy..... Can't think of any me gifts... ? Mani pedi? What are some things you all like?
Is there anything that is meaningful to you?

I do my own fingernails because I like to do them but I have a pedicure once a month because it's just so relaxing! And the foot massage!!!

Have you been wanting something you've been denying yourself? A new book? A piece of cookware? Jewelry?

Find something for you that feels like a prize for a win. 🫂🫂

I have so much to lose... if any of you saw me in person, It would be bad
Oh, sweetie! We would love you as we do now! Your size does not figure into how we feel about you! I follow a beautiful woman on IG, @aletheacrimmins. She is an outspoken BBW who is truly gorgeous inside and out! She posts the most uplifting affirmation messages. I hope you can take a look at her posts.

You are not your size, babe! 🫂💞🫂

I tried vegetable garden here several times but the bugs kept enjoying them more than we did. I tried planting bug deterring flowers raised gardens screened gardens, but nope...I was just feeding my unfriendly bug neighbors.

Maybe bacon, but not whiskey or Klondike bars...

Love me some 🥓 🥓 !!

The trick Out West would be to keep from feeding the deer. They have this foolish idea that we feed them, and it's the other way around. Of course, my next serving of venison will be the first one, but . . . .

We have talked about putting in pigs, though.

As in you've never had venison?

I have a compound bow and my hunting license/permit. I would love to get one of my own. That would be a first for me but I've had lots of venison. I don't like southern though. I like it from more up north. Much tastier. Pigs are just fine here.

My grandparents had two pigs named after my sis and I. One morning when I was about 11, my mom served us the BEST bacon I ever had. When she told me that it was my alter self on four legs, I was stunned, but because the bacon was fantastic, I encouraged more pigs on their farm.
