Know what you mean about spacial awareness. The management's mother was like that. I used to work in the butchers with her. Many is the time the woman swung a bloody great knife past my face pointing to something a customer asked for in the window. Fortunately my reactions were good enough to get my head out of the way. Hence it remains on my shoulders.Bless you, my child. That's a lot like work.
The landlady bought herself a battery powered Milwaukee chain saw with a 12A battery. I can trust her with that. Kinda. Situational Awareness isn't always her thing.
We have all the seasons in a single day here in Scotland…..irrespective of the time of year!Sorry you have SAD. Although I admit that I don't know what it is except literally.
Fall is why I would like to move somewhere with more seasons than just summer![]()
I didn’t miss it I chose to ignore it and guess so did everyone else!
Yes it's classified as Impishseraph most daysIs there a classification for too much Coffee?
What is SAD does it literally mean sad? Nobody ever did clarify that to this wordily challenged individual. We have all the seasons in a single day here in Scotland…..irrespective of the time of year!

closest thing I have is hurricane days and even those are bright. No wonder I didn't know. I live in the sunshine state. I think I would be ok, since I live like a hermit and have to avoid most supper sunny days anywaysSeasonal Affective Disorder. It's light related - lack of light. Think: mid-winter depression. There's a line, "in the bleak midwinter," and I understand.

Our winter is 85 one day and the next day have a touch of 50 and then the next day is back to 85. We locals call it our bipolar winter weather. It lasts a few months at most. One day I will move more northI doubt that it occurs in Florida. I've been down to visit around the turn of the calendar and felt it hit me on the first day back to work in the cold. Then again, in the mid-Atlantic, it can be 70* on New Years and snowing 18" three days later. I've seen that with my own eyes.

I would just have to get in the habit of wearing shoes most days that cover my feet
Out west was much nicer heat. Lack of humidity is always nice. When I was in NC mountains visiting, I would go out int he morning 25 degree in my robe flipflops sit and have coffee. It was soooooo nice! Then I put my boots on and go for a hike.Based on my observation of two of them, I prefer winters Out West to the ones Back East. Out West had cold and a couple of snows and some windybits, but it also didn't seem to suck as much. Clothing is required - shoes, too.
TDK is burrowing under the afghan. That's always funny.
