I like all of the seasons. The winter is tough with low light (I think I have SAD). Then the winter just drags on so long. But I appreciate winter. Love summer and don’t mind the heat.

Fall is my favorite season.

I seem to have a touch of SAD also. It's the shortenizing days in Fall that get me more. After TimeChenge, the suction occurs. I'm better at accepting it these days than in previous years.

I was deep in the woods clearing felled trees. About ten minutes in my chain must’ve hit a rock. I saw a spark. I kept on going by the blade was fucked.

Changed the blade which got me thru most of the rest of the afternoon. When I got back I was sawing another log. Hit a huge cable embedded in the tree. Sparks. Fucked blade #2. It wouldn’t do anything.

Last blade I had just got dull from sawing. I can sharpen that one. The other two I have to get professionally sharpened. I hosed them pretty hard.

When POS left we had just taken a tree down in the back yard and head all the trunk cut up but the branches were all out there in the yard. I had to use a chain saw to cut them and it seemed every few branches, I had to put the chain back on. I think it was more me going at them like a Leatherface on crack, but most all of it was burned in my 4 day bonfire. I also broke my weedwhacker using it to edge. I was apparently hitting it on the concrete driveway too hard and wore down the entire bottom to where the cutter head fell off lol. I'll prolly be getting yelled at by my neighbors for letting that grass get too tall that my mower doesn't reach. Oh Well.

Another day of hot and steamy weather but cool weather coming later. There are a lot of rural areas in Michigan. I used to spend 2 weeks each summer with my Aunt and Uncle who lived on a farm. I had a similar experience when after 30 years of narcissism I said enough is enough. But I did find the love of my life and we had a good marriage for 9 years until cancer. That period of my life with my LW will always make me smile.

Lots of stuff there. Yours is recent, of the open wound variety. Mine is a well-healed old white scar. I spent too long being bitter and took longer that I should have in getting to reinventing me. I would submit, put effort in figuring out who and what you want to be in every level of your Life, and then work on those things. I always strive to act better than I think, and better than I feel. I succeed these days much more often than not.

I am too. Used to really get me.

I don’t love winter but I don’t hate it anymore.

I do love the long days of summer tho and it does make me literally a bit sad as they begin to wind down.

I have a three year start already so that has helped. TBH, I'm glad he left. I didn't realize how mean he was. I never would have if he didn't do me the favor of leaving. I seem to have much more joy in my life and have been my old goofy self that was shut down by him all the time. My closest friend told me the other day that he was glad to see me back to my old self. I never realized that self was gone for so long.
