Its because they are scared and want to sloooowwllly push the needle in...dart damn it and push the med in. Pressure on the injection site...... some meds hurt because they hurt but dang dont make it worse
 
Well I decided to cook something healthy tonight so I had some a lot of peppers and onions and canned tomato and mushrooms and some chicken broth so I brown the chicken thighs. Oh yeah chicken thighs, and then I took him to the side and round up the onions and start a soup with the chicken back in and looked pretty good then it didn't seem quite right. So I started looking at all my ingredients well my tomatoes and my broth are out of date like a year. And I am not risking food poisoning, so there goes that in the garbage now I'm working on a hamburger see how that works out dang nabbit

That's one of those don't no if to laugh or cry things. So, let's laugh. I think I have all my old food long since cycled out.

I bought all the canned tomato fixings for chili one year... then lost the craving before ever making it.
Fast forward several more years and I'm cleaning out my cupboards. One of the little cans of tomato paste? The acid from the tomato had eaten its way through the can! Another couple cans weren't far behind. Could have been a much bigger mess. Now I spot check my canned goods periodically - just in case.
