Okay, gotcha. I use the nasty petroleum based stripper and wipe it down with acetone. Use nitrile gloves and lots of ventilation. Shit ain't worth dying over. If it's that glossy and gums paper PDQ, I don't think the latex will do much more than waste your time. The rifle stocks I did earlier this year, I went backwards from starting with stripper to just starting with 60 grit. The last one was dusty, but it was also easiest. You have something of a different nature.

The pasta salad is now made and is delicious - moreso tomorrow once the flavors have settled. 🤤
I've managed everything that was high priority. Still, I would need a 4-day weekend to get done everything I want in the standard issue 2-day weekend. :rolleyes:

Mine are covered in cat hair. They don't claw the couches, they claw my furniture, but don't scratch it up. It's weird...they are weird cats. I ended up with a lot of antique pieces from my grandparents when they passed. I need to down size but it's so hard to get rid of those pieces. Most including the piano have the ivory?? wheels on the bottom. My thought is to strip them and color them besides the old brown. I like a lot of color. It brightens my mood. Do it..... and repurchase. Old pianos make great bars or desks when the guts are removed. Use as much color as you want. People will say don't refinish but I would rather refinish and love then have it go in the landfill

I had a 4 day bonfire when he first left burning his shit for 4 days :D

Now I still have more than that to burn. Can you believe he tried to count everything he left as assets? What a POS. I do hope he's happy though truthfully. He is my daughters dad and for her sake I want him to be happy. Plus he did me a huge favor in taking out my trash :ROFLMAO::sneaky:

IMO it's just as beautiful... just a different kind of beautiful.
Obviously this site is trying to sell their product, but look at the before and after for this piece. I love both for very different reasons. And both could be an anchor piece for two very differently decorated rooms. :heart:
