I got some old junk mail forwarded to me recently from Massachusetts, dated 2008.

I left Massachusetts in 2006. Can count on one hand the times since then that I've been back. Weird.

I'm retired now, but my first week at the publishing company I worked for, I accidentally formatted the main drive on my desk computer. IT department provided a new one with explicit instructions "Don't do that Again"...

I really dislike the commands "Eject" and "Format" are listed alphabetically when my eReader is connected by USB. The number of times I've almost selected the wrong option.

Man, I have a hard time sitting still, but I was in meetings straight from 830 - 1230 today. I dunno how people do it.

Then more meetings.

Ehhhh. Work.

A line of showers parked itself over our area for about 2hrs tonite. No flooding, but pretty good rain.

Dinner, a brownie, and I think I’m gonna read and watch the Olympics (simultaneously of course).

I don’t know anything about growing anything in Florida, but I’m assuming you start earlier in the year so you can beat the heat.

My family started their tomatoes back in March or April I think. Summer heat is hard on them here

My grandson has set his heart on engineering. He has just done his foundation year and now has two years at college.

I have my bachelorette in Mechanical Engineering. When I graduated it was the lowest paying engineering job at the time. I loved getting the degree and it felt awesome to pass the 8 hr EIT exam, but I needed to do something with a more meaningful outcome. I always wanted teaching so I ended up trying it and never left. (I'm having Deja vu so if I said this already, forgive me. My brain is mush from first week back in school)
