I did talk to an electrician and he confirmed my suspicions. My dad went on the cheap without regard to the little safety valves. As it was just he and my mom at the time, no real problem. Now, though with grandkids crawling all over the place, she and I decided we’re going to have all those features installed. Even called the power company to see if they’d update the junction box for free and it looks like they might do that.

Thanks. I don't mind it because I understand the reasons why it's used. But it tends to wipe me out for hours afterwards.

Got my appointments mixed up. Dilation will be next time in 6 months. Today was dry eye check-up.
Symptoms have held steady but left eye tested worse.
No more cheating on my lunchtime naps. Must take the break with the warm, damp compress and rest the eyes over lunch and hope the retest in 6 months has better numbers.

I did ask and there is a new camera that can be used in some cases to take a photo of the entire back of the eye which can eliminate the need for dilation in some cases. (Different than the current Retina Photo)

Very expensive equipment but pretty neat. My clinic has one at a location other than the one I use. 🤞 that in time my location will get one, too.

My great grandma had a car that looked like that but I don't know what kind it was. White leather seats, no seat belts, and a HUGE back seat. My sister and I would ride in the back seat while she would fly down the road and turn corners fast. My sister and I maybe 5 and 8 would be in the back. She would take a turn and we would slide to one side and then she would turn the other way and we would slide all the way over to the other door. One of us would be slammed and then squished between the other and the door. Crazy driver she was. She was a Jazz musician and would have to drive to different towns, so I guess she just got in the habit of driving super fast. We were scared to move, so we would just sliiiideee back and forth :ROFLMAO:

Used to do the same. Squish my two sisters when we we went around the corner.

That was the penalty for making me (the youngest) sit In the middle.

Glad that went easier for you (no dilations) but sorry your readings are getting worse. 🙁

The damp warm compress on your eyes will help with the eyes ducts. As people age the oils solidify so the warm compress helps keep the ducts functioning. Usually creates a blurry vision if the oils solidify...
