I don't use my BSME degree anymore. It wasn't my passion so to say. I had a hard time once out in the field. It wasn't satisfying. I wanted to have meaning in what I did. I ended up teaching and fell in love with it. Been their ever since.

And that’s the main thing, if you enjoy your job it makes it so much easier to get out of bed in the morning and the days go quicker.

I’m quite lucky in that I work at a large factory and look after the whole drawing system on my own, plus I do other stuff as well so it doesn’t get monotonous
 
I have to switch jobs because of my unexpected situation, and I thought about throwing resumes out their for it just to see, but I've been out of it for so long with such little experience and I'm so old that it probably won't happen. Still interesting. I did pass my EIT exam, but I don't know if they even use that anymore. Who knows where the road will take me

I’m sure you’re not that old, I feel old on here though as I’m 51 and most seem so much younger 😂
 
Last night was interesting. I was walking the boys back from the river and a car pulled up. It was a family from Holland asking if there were any campsites nearby. They had been travelling all day and needed to stay somewhere for the night. I knew nothing with 20 miles and may not be taking campers at 8.30 at night.

Okay if your tent is not too big camp on our side yard and use our bathroom. So we had visitors for the night. The management made one of the boys a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows at breakfast. His eyes were like saucers 😆

Happy Sunday!!! Been up for a bit. Stirred up some stuff over there, drank all my coffee, chopped off all my hair (not almost - did), and have a couple of plans for today that include cutting some grass so the landlady doesn't have to. She's been working a lot lately, which takes (tookens) time and all of this sub-tropical rainfall means stuff is growing like craycray.


I hate this fucking platform. It took a shit on me when I posted and when I c&p'ed, it fucked me.

That is great! I once had a similar situation when we were camping in a small camper. We invited them in and had two boys sleeping on the floor. I should mention there was a severe thunder storms at the time.
