I moved to FL from Pa. i could dress warm for clearing snow, working outside in the cold or hunting. In FL there is only so much you can take off! I have a fan that goes around the neck. There has been hot and humid weather up north, this year more than most. We take the puppy for a walk on the beach in the morning. The 90 degree gulf water cools him off!

The Cav had to trade its hoofs in for tracks, mech, and blades. Units are a mishmash of strange bedfellows in the modern military!

I was 152G (no longer around) but keep that under your hat. All I ever really wanted to be was 02T 😂🤣

Good morning... I slept in. Sounds like a busy day..... when I make a good "gravy" I serve it over roasted cabbage. Because 1) i love roasted cabbage 2) it has a bounce to it that resembles noodles.....

That darling kitten and dad on the road again... 🎶 🎵

I’m curious about roasting of cabbage. I have steamed, stewed and fried cabbage but not roast it. Share a recipe?

Me? Yeah I guess I do, but I really try to be objective about things as much as possible!

We are pretty good at agreeing to disagree and feeling respected and being respectful. That is why I love this thread so much.... and it is a safe place to talk to friends without feeling hunted.....

All I do is cut it in half and then lay cut side down and slice in 1 inch or so ribbons. I try to keep as intact as possible. I lay on an oiled cookie sheet and put a little bit more on top sprinkle with salt and pepper and bake at 350° until brown and roast. I check at 15 min and judge from there. It looks sort of limp and brown on the edges when done.

After I take it out of the oven I grab what my serving in and put it in a bowl put the "gravy" on top and eat it like spaghetti..... I think it tastes good....
