Glad I ate ahead of time - menu doesn't jive with my food issues.
Thunderstorm broke open just as we were leaving. I didn't get too wet getting to the car but the drive home was not ideal. Wipers on high and still low visibility. Lots of standing water. Had to think which route to take... avoid the construction w/ the now dirt road as I'm sure it's Mud City tonight.

Had my back to the TVs in the restaurant. Didn't know they even had them until one sibling remarked on an Olympic Gymnastics routine replay - they thought it was live. Lots of good humor at the dinner table tonight. Nice we all take turns being ridiculous.

Cue the Waltons music...

Off to read. We'll try again tomorrow.

Happy Monday to Betty and Grey. Slept decently. Old cat went back to bed. Young cats are done wrestling. Ob Cup #2 of proper-strength coffee. Pills ingested. Incense/Josh is burning for those who suffer needlessly. Got to finish loading the truck, reconnect the trailer, and then load it. Kitten and I will be on the road inside of 25 hours if all goes according to.


Take these papaes over to the new job.


Did I mention that the gravy was fucking killer? Had it over spinach leaves for supper last night. Way fewer carbs.
